Dt. Pradnya Padhye is a Registered Dietitian and has been practicing for the last 17 years, helping people “Get Healthy the Right Way”. I reached out to Dr Pradnya not just to manage my weight issue but also to bring a routine to my severely indisciplined diet abs lifestyle. As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder for as long as I can remember I wasn’t sure I would be able to comply with a dietician. I also suffer with a generalised anxiety disorder so food was what I turned to for comfort which in turn lead to obesity and further health problems like insulin resistance. I have been trying to lose weight for years now but keep going back to my old habits after a while. With Pradnya’s and Mridula’s (the dietician I was personally assigned to) help I was able to bring a change to my lifestyle rather than simply going on a diet. There were times I flattered and binge ate owing to my anxiety attacks but they never took to blaming me instead they tried to understand my situation and motivate me which in turn helped me forgive myself and get back on track. I have so far managed to lose 13 kgs without taking any appetite suppressors or going on any extreme diets. They simply made me make a few lifestyle changes which I could carry through without feeling overwhelmed.From my experience I strongly recommend their services and can’t thank them enough for their support. My journey with Balcal Nutrefy has been great. I had a very sedentary lifestyle since the lockdown and started facing health issues due to the rising number on the scale. This is where I decided that I had to take it seriously and go to a professional dietitian for help.
I had my first online diet counselling with Dt. Pradyna, their chief nutritionist. This session lasted for about 40 minutes where she tried to understand my routine, likes and short comings. She suggested me to go for a 3 month plan and during my entire journey Dt. Pradyna and Dt. Mrudula made sure to keep me informed and gave me knowledgeable handouts about food choices diet and exercise. We had a follow up call every week to keep a track of my progress help me with a new diet plan. Their plans were simple and easy to follow as there was no restricted portion sizes and all the ingredients were readily available in the kitchen.
Finally, It does take some time to get the results but, it’s worth it and lasts for longer. I can gladly say that she is one of the best dietitians in Thane.
I know pradnya from long time now and since my first interaction few years back when I aimed to loose, I was pretty impressed with her way of dealing with issue.
I visited here recently again to tackle my over weight as my work schedule and diet pattern was not letting me loose.
I was able to loose 10-11 kg in 3 month with some smart and effective diet changes and basic workout moderations.
Best thing I like about her is that she puts effort to explain the concept and logic behind basics of diet, wt loss, nutrition which is very good to know and serves u lifetime.
She helped me to change my diet as per my adaptability and focused more on stable wt loss and not to just reflect on scale. Infact when I decided to take a break from diet..my wt doesn't rolls back which is a great thing, which shows it was not a crash diet.
She is my go-to person for any one of my diet related guidance.

I was looking at losing weight and found very good reviews about Dt. Pradnya, so I decided to give it a try...and trust me it was one of the best decision...after the first consultation, I was assigned my mentor Dt Mrudula. The follow up was every week and dietary changes suggested were after taking into consideration the schedule of the upcoming week ....they were mostly home based food items and an occasional introduction of a new food...which was actually fun!! I not only lost 8-9 kgs but also lost on my inches too.....it not only helped me feel good about myself when I look at myself in the mirror...but I also got a lot of compliments for it too...thank you so much Dt Pradnya, Dt Mrudula and the entire team of Balcal Nutrefy for changing the lives of so many people for better...love you all...my best wishes with you all forever 💖
I liked how she explains things and attempts to understand your lifestyle and eating habits. It's my first date, and I like her. I'm hoping for the best.
The diet plans were suited to my needs, and they worked efficiently. It also made me realise the importance of the right food and exercise to lead a healthy lifestyle. You don't need to completely cut out the foods that you like to eat. But it is necessary to balance them out to maintain your health. Balcal Nutrefy helped me adjust to this with routine checkups, free communication and all-time availability. In case I wasn't able to follow through a plan correctly, i received necessary feedback so that I could do so. They also helped me understand basic nutrition, what my body needs. Everytime I look at food now, I unconsciously categorise it into carbs/ protein/fibre, which I noticed was the biggest change. Finally, in order to maintain the fitness I achieved throughout the course, I also had a maintenance call with them which has been super helpful to understand the right way to diet. I followed a supplement-free diet that did not restrict portion sizes and helped me lose weight. It does not happen overnight and the results take time, but they last longer. Moreover, the dieticians were really friendly and approachable, and attended to smallest of doubts and concerns that I had. I had an amazing experience with Balcal Nutrefy.
Dr Pradnya was very co-ordial, smiling and helpful during all our interactions with us. We attempted weight reduction in the past, but result was not satisfactory. So, we were little sceptical about the entire thing at the initial period. However, Dr Pradnya gave us the belief and encouragement that we can do it. At each concall, not she used to explain the diet schedule in easy language, but also used to give us the confidence about the results. She was flexible enough to design our diet charts based on our travelling/Party schedule. She also used to give us the simple tips to be followed before any party lunch/dinner, which was very helpful in our overall weight reduction programme. Dr Pradnya’s diet charts were simple, easy to follow and very effective.

I wanted to get fitter, post pregnancy everything went for a toss.. during last 2years my sleeping pattern, food habits, lack of exercise everything has affected my lifestyle and pandemic addded more fuel to it as initially everyone just spent days watching recipes and preparing them and eating them with family on a frequent basis with no physical activity.. All this resulted in gained weight n low energy levels.. So i decided to consult Dr. Pradnya. I always knew its better to take the guidance from the professional than to try fad diets during this era. She has been a great help and support to burst all the diet myths and helped me understand and prioritise food habits n lifestyle.. Its something not many of us do thinking we are young. I lost 9kgs in the process of 3 months consultation. Its been a great journey considering the weekly followups n diet changes we did per week based on my food habits or likings.. It was quite motivating as well which i feel is essential coz everything takes time and we loose patience at such times. Dr. Mrudula was in touch with me for follow-ups and even on day to day basis via WhatsApp.. The overall approach is very comfortable.. The entire process was done virtually over calls and messages but it felt quite smooth. I am super happy with results and have learnt many new things about food and eating habits. Hi, I had contacted balcal nutrefy beacuse i was having issue with my weight and also have thyroid issues.. So eventhough i was pretty careful with my diet i just could not control my weight.. And after i started consulting Dr. Pradnya and the way she and her team helped me with my weight loss is just awesome..
