During the lockdown, I had developed severe pain my left shoulder. A General Practitioner suggested rest and few painkillers. As this was peak corona time, hence I was reticent in actually meeting someone. Slowly I was reduced to almost 10-20% shoulder mobility only.

When the pain crossed into unbearable territory, I decided to meet Dr. Priyanka Mahadik. I was acquainted with her earlier, as she had conducted Physiotherapy for my father, and so I knew that I could trust her. She diagnosed the issue with my shoulder in our first session itself and advised the corrective exercises that I had to follow. She followed it up with dry needling to treat the myofascial trigger points, and the pain started easing within the same week itself. This gave me immense relief and in about a month’s time I was able to regain about 90% of shoulder mobility, after regular follow up with Dr. Priyanka. After that the sessions ended and I continued these mobility exercises at home. Its been months since I have regained full mobility to my shoulder and due to these exercises I have improved mobility throughout my body thus improving my overall fitness.
