Dr. Pradnya Aptikar

First time I visited Dr. Aptikar in Jan'20 as we were planning to start a family and dint want to kill time. On complete check up we got to know I had mild pcod. Immediately ma'am put me on required medication and there were certain dietary restrictions like no tangy food, avoiding street food, no junk, etc. which I diligently followed.

Immediately in my next cycle I conceived but it was a biochemical pregnancy which naturally got aborted. But this immediate conception atleast proved her medicines were working for me. After a month my panchakarma procedure began.

You need a lot of patience when it comes to ayurveda plus her medicines are very very expensive(3-5k/month), so do not compare it with the allopathic procedures/expenses.

In between, I got infected with covid and recovered immediately, thanks to her effective medicines again, as my tiredness quickly vanished in a month.

My panchakarma basti and uttar basti process ended by June-July'20. I conceived again in July, but due to my smaller follicle size I had to undergo the procedure of abortion by end of second month. It was very disturbing at this point but atleast things had started moving ahead.

After my last follicular check up only when the egg size was perfect and also my mild pcod had vanished, we decided to go ahead and this time I had successfully conceived in December :) It took almost a year of patience, a year of medicines, panchakarma, food restrictions, meditation, yoga and other natural remedies which ma'am suggested.

Dr. Pradnya has also been very supportive morally throughout this phase. She gives good amount of time to each and every patient. Sometimes the waiting time at the clinic is a lot but you have to deal with it. Maybe you should avoid Saturdays due to rush. Best part is she remembered everything about me without opening her file, that feeling always made me very comfortable.

In case of urgency, you can directly call her for help or can email her your queries. She generally responds in 4-5 hours.

I have bothered her with a lot of emails and phonecalls but ma'am has always responded patiently. She has addressed my skin issues as well. Her diagnosis is simply perfect.

Overall the staff here is well trained. I have always had good experience with her staff members Sonali and Pranali. Incase you face any issues, let Dr.Pradnya know about it and she will make sure to address it properly. Her assistant doctors Dr. Priya and Dr. Seema are also approachable incase of other queries.

Dr aptikar is very experienced in her field. I visited her for pcod treatment. At the very first meet she made me very comfortable and confident about the treatment. I first underwent panchkarma process to detoxify the doshas in me, followed by 3 cycles of basti and uttarbasti. I was also trained in yoga by Dr. Seema and advised for maintaining balanced and healthy diet. ********* *** ***** ********* ******** *** ********** **** **** ** ********* ******** I lost 8kgs of weight in 2 months time. I was relieved of my acidity problem and the swelling in my ovaries started to reduce. The staff is well trained and ensured that I was attained to in time. I was also treated for my dandruff problem here. I found this place as a once stop solution for all the problems that I had with my health.

It is really like a blessing to have met Dr. Pradnya aptikar who has practically streamlined my way of living in the most hassle free way possible. I now look forward to treat my PCOD problem which I am confident will b treated following Dr. Aptikars instructions and medications.

They cure the deaces with care and prefet remidy. Good observation of medical history of patients and accordingly gives the treatment.

The doctor was very friendly and walked me through all the details. She was patient and heard the problem and suggested ways to start with the treatment. But the only problem is the Way too high medicine costs. 1300rs for a 10 days medicine is way too much. I think it would be better to buy the entire box of tablets with proper mrp on it. How can we even be sure that we are charged right? How can one just look at the 10 days dose and decide its worth as 1300. So a one month course would cost me 3900??

I was a labile BP patient prior getting pregnant and was considered as mid risk pregnancy by my gynaec. Due to my immense belief in Ayurveda I approached Dr. Aptikar. She provided proper treatment for each month of pregnancy keeping my BP, iron, calcium and overall health in check. She ensured I received my medicines on time even during lockdown. The medicines are on a higher side but totally worth it.

My treatment is still ongoing so can't comment on effectiveness of treatment. However, my experience so far has made me feel confident that I have finally found the correct doctor for my treatment. Waiting time is much lesser than what I have experienced with several other doctors and the best part is that she gives each patient enough time.
