Rashmi, an athletic girl born and brought in great town of Thane was always famous for her sports records in St. Johns School. She successfully completed her Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 1996 from KEM Hospital, affiliated with Mumbai University. She then pursued professional career in her interest area i.e. serving people with physical challenges and injuries.After graduation she registered with "All India Physiotherapy Association" and provided her physiotherapy services to 'Kelshikar's Orthopedic Clinic' facility in Thane and run by Dr. Kelshikar who is one of famous orthopedic surgeon in the area.In 1998, she moved to USA and pursued 'Physical Therapist' license to practice in USA. With lot of hard work and further studies, in 2000 she officially got her licensure to serve NJ and NY State as certified Physical Therapist.During 1999-2009, she professionally managed many cases for orthopedic trauma, musculoskeletal out-patients, elderly care, neurology, general surgery, hydrotherapy, sports injury, total joint replacements, low back , cervical injuries, fractures, hemiplegia, diabetes foot pain, amputee, arthritis, spondylosis, elective orthopedics and intensive care. She provided her expert consultancy services to various world class hospitals and facilities based out of NY and NJ viz. Millennium Rehab, Bronx, New York St. Peter Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ Capital Health, Trenton NJ Manalapan Spine care and Rehabilitation, Manalapan, NJ. Park Physical Therapy Out-patient Rehab, North Brunswick, NJ.To further enhance her professional career she attended various seminars and extended her physiotherapy knowledge with many modern techniques. She believes in personal attention to each case and provides a seamless service to her patients.Currently she is successfully managing wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative physiotherapy (and rehabilitation) and many of areas already mentioned above. She is always interested in treating complex and chronic pain and believes multi-disciplinary solutions are essential for successful results.
