Recently, I got an opportunity to attend Dr. Uma Bansals ANC class held in her clinic. My daughter-in-law had been invited for the class and I went with her. My intention was only to accompany her and not to attend the class.

On reaching there, Dr. Bansal very kindly requested me to go and sit inside with the other participants. Honestly, I had no idea what the class was about. So I went inside wondering why I had been asked to join the others, as the class would be relevant only for the ‘expecting mothers’.

To my pleasant surprise the class turned out to be extremely interesting and informative. It was an interactive session (and not a class as I had thought). Dr. Bansal encourages everyone to speak out their doubts and questions. She patiently listened to the questions and anxieties of all mothers to be. She then not only cleared every little doubt but also explained the entire prenatal process. She also explained the complex procedures of delivery, with the help of miniature models with very simple but excellent examples. She also explained how mothers should prepare their bodies for a hassle free delivery and why it was important to do so. That was clearly showing her years of experience in this field.

After the class, I felt I was returning home with a lot of valuable information that a ‘grandmother to be’ should possess. I was now confident that my daughter-in-law will be in safe hands during her delivery.

When I decided to go to Dr Uma Bansal I was so worried because I haven't heard about her...I was new to the Thane city.... but when I visited my view changed...

I just had 2 sessions with the doctor so I cannot say if doctor is good or not but the main issue with Arogya Hospital is its wait time and mismanaged front desk. I visited them twice and even after giving an appointment

I just had 2 sessions with the doctor so I cannot say if doctor is good or not but the main issue with Arogya Hospital is its wait time and mismanaged front desk. I visited them twice and even after giving an appointment time they make you wait for hours, in my case it was 1.5 hours wait both the time. Dr Uma upon seeing my issue, recommended me to see Dr Bansal in the same clinic and asked me to tell reception that I have been waiting for a long time(I left my 11 month old for babysitting) and hence prioritise my visit with Dr Bansal but reception did not listen and they told that I will have to wait for another hour.

Basically front desk is mismanaged considering the fact that they do not listen even to their doctors. If you are visiting them then prepare yourself for at least 1.5 hour wait time even though you have setup prior appointment
