The doctor called me in, made me sit on the dentist's chair. Before starting the procedure she received a phone call. The doctor told the person at the other end of the phone that there was patient waiting in the dentist

The doctor called me in, made me sit on the dentist's chair. Before starting the procedure she received a phone call. The doctor told the person at the other end of the phone that there was patient waiting in the dentist's chair in front of her. Still the conversation continued and I had to sit in the chair for 20 minutes waiting for the conversation to finish. In my opinion she should have completed the procedure and then talked with whomsoever she liked at leisure. After all the patients time is also valuable to him/her and he/she should not be kept waiting when it can be avoided. Otherwise the practice of giving and taking appointment loses it's meaning.

After finishing the phone call she started the procedure. But during the procedure she was telling her subordinates about the phone call instead of devoting her full attention to the job in hand. My gums got injured during the procedure which strengthens my impression that the doctor's concentration was divided between the job at hand and the conversation with her subordinates. The impression of my teeth was taken to make a cap for the affected tooth. This happened on the 26th of March 2016.
