In the year 2020, I was suffering from severe lower back pain and the pain shooted up to my right leg which affected my walking. Got my MRI done and reports mentioned extended slip disc.

I visited many doctors for opinions for which 2 well known Doctors from reputed hospitals immediately asked me to go for surgery.

At that point, Me at the age of 36, mother of a 3yrs old daughter, adventurous and love for marathons would never want to go through such a phase.

One of my best friend Jayesh Tadose recommended Dr. Mihir Bapat from Nanavati hospital as he has been undergoing his treatment.

I visited Nanavati hospital and met Dr. Mihir Bapat, he is such a wonderful and a friendly doctor. He explains in detail about the problem one is facing and also the treatment needed in a language easily understood by any layman.

Dr. Mihir started my treatment by giving me medicines and informed surgery is not required. Things should get sorted by medication. I had medication only for 3 weeks and reduce travelling.

To my luck, due to lockdown there were restrictions on transport so had stopped travelling to work.

I could repeat my MRI only after few months of lockdown relaxation and then showed my reports to Dr. Mihir. To my surprise, he informed that the extended slip disc had cured completely and I need to go slow on activities for a year and do yoga, exercise and walking alternate days.

The Complete discharged report did not mention it was endoscopic. After several MRI n Spine X Ray Reports.by Other Spine surgeons . It came to my understanding in 2010 that my lumbar lower back bone had undergone under a knife and it was a major surgery. I was completely distressed for 14yrs l went under pain n stress because the surgery had restricted my routine daily moments. I had decided never to visit any Spine Doctor.
