Being a glaucoma patient i had a chance to consult many opthalmologists from hinduja hospital mahim to who is who of mulund & thane area during my stay at Mumbai. I was really surprised by Dr Chaitanya vemu at her clinic. In the true spirit of excellence of being an alumni of prestigious JIMPER puduchery she followed all medical protocols viz slit lamp microscopy/gonoiscopic examination/field vision testing & applanation tonometery and then taking her precious time to correlate all the findings/symptoms to reach a right technical diagnosis/conclusion. The local residents of dr vemu's clinic are privileged to have a highly qualified opthalmologist for their all eye issues. May God bless her in all endeavors

Jan'2020 I got my father's (70 yrs) cataract Surgery done (both eyes in week's time). We were hesitant to get both eyes done in weeks time, but the way doctor explained us & gave us confidence & explained about the pros of operating both eyes helped us !!

In short Dr. Chaitanya Vemu is incredible. Not only she has explained in detail about the surgery, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment.

Had a great experience. Sometimes doctors get patients who tend to ask a lot of questions about their conditions. I was one of them :) But she patiently heard me out and provided reasoning as well. She also made me aware of the medications I was previously taking and its possible side effects if taken without doctor's supervision. My course with medications has just started but I feel positive that I will be ok very soon :) Thank you Doc !!

Dr Vemu is not just excellent at her job but is very warm and friendly too! We got both our parents' cataract surgery done by her. The way she explained and handled the pre-surgery process, the surgery and the after care is highly satisfactory. She made the whole process very easy for our aged parents who had to come all the way from Hyd to Mumbai for the surgery.

I got my infant's eyes also tested by her due to some doubts and the way she handled my otherwise naughty girl increased my respect for her manifold.
