He had served the institute as an assistant Professor in Department of Medicine in Government Medical College, Surat for more than 3 years. He then obtained Comprehensive Post Doctoral Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism under India and internationally renowned Padma Shree Prof. Dr. Shashank R. Joshi and Dr. Vijay Panikar at one of the prestigious institutes in the country, The Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai.
