Hello Doctor,
I have been experiencing a recurring sensation of pressure in the middle of my chest, which sometimes also radiates to the same area in my back. This feeling lasts only for 2–3 minutes and usually occurs 2–3 times a month.
During these episodes, I do not have shortness of breath, sweating, or pain in my left arm or neck. It usually comes on suddenly and goes away on its own.
I have already had an ECG and other heart tests, and my heart is reported to be normal. Despite this, I am still worried and confused about what is happening.
Based on these symptoms, I think it might be panic attacks or anxiety-related episodes, but I want your professional evaluation to confirm what is causing these episodes and to get advice on how to manage them.
I am also concerned because these episodes make me anxious and uncomfortable, even though they are short-lived, and I would like to know the best way to prevent or reduce them.”
