She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) from the renowned Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt where she also attained her master’s degree (MSc) as well as her doctorate degree (MD, PhD) in Geriatric Medicine. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK), the Emirates Geriatrics Society and the British Geriatrics Society.
During the nascency of her career, Dr. Yusif started working as a resident in the Geriatric Medicine Department in Ain Shams University hospital. After completing her residency program, she worked as an Assistant Lecturer and later Lecturer of Geriatric Medicine in the same hospital. She also worked as a Geriatric Specialist in many reputable JCI-accredited hospitals in Egypt.
