Hoped for better: Treatment satisfactionValue for money
I had visited here for my dad's routine eye check up. He has an history of glaucoma and issue with retina. So, he produced his reports, so that the doctor would carry out appropriate check up.
1. He had to suggest the doctor the check up that would be needed. * ***** **** **** ** **** ** ********* ** **** ** *********
2. Moreover, just because the suggested checkup would take longer time, he was asked to visit at later point of time such that it's not too late in the evening or during peak visitation hours. I would say, whatever attention is needed, the doctor should take care at the time of visit.
3. It's a eye clinic. At the time of leaving, there were no lights in the stairs. Your patients are going to have problems with eye sights and you don't have proper arrangements for lights? That's absolutely unacceptable.
4. The fees mentioned in the profile is Rs. 300, while we were charged Rs. 400. Any reason please?
Not recommended! I am not visiting again.
Dr. Dipti Murkute (Pansare) replied
Your dad is known case of glaucoma treated elsewhere and you came to me as a follow up visit regarding eye pressure that you are doing every 3 monthly... I have my specialization in glaucoma and I very well know what I had done... I had done all the necessary check ups such as vision, anterior chamber angle assessment, IOP with applanation, central fundus assessment with optic disc examination.... not a single clinical examination was missed out that is required for follow up visit.... so extra 100 Rs for your glaucoma assessment and that was told to you at the time of billing in reception.... second question of retina check up.... I explained to you that time also and now repeating the same thing ... we checked your central portion of retina and I noted down the findings also .... but if you want to check your peripheral retina...then that needs dilatation and atleast 30 to 45 min more.... your consultation was at around 9.15 pm ... opd closure time is 9.00pm so then you only tell me how is it possible ....thats why I asked you to visit again and that is no where related to your glaucoma follow up....you want to get it done additionally... and this was explained to you already .... so why is this unnecessary comment I don't really understand..
There is also light in staircase but may be below hospital worker switched that off thinking that we had left hospital as we were late....
I feel really bad reading such comments when everything was explained to the patient and his relatives but still they pass such types of comments
