I had been suffering from depression and anxiety for years and had been to countless counselors and doctors but none had proved to be effective and long standing.

It is closing in on six months of consulting Dr.Vrushali and I feel like a different person. Within a month of starting my sessions and treatment, I had started observing and feeling a difference.

Dr.Vrushali has always given a lot of time in hearing me out. Never during a session did I ever feel rushed, self-conscious or judged. She has remarkable patience and composure. Her manner of reassuring, comforting whilst providing an action plan / a way forward is practical and strikes the right balance between being professional but not impersonal.

Unlike the past experiences with mental health professionals, she not only told me what to do but also told me how to take baby steps and the supplementary help I could find through books, and how to focus and work on the core concern areas.

On the very first day, she explained to me the treatment plan, the ins and outs of the process and the commitment it would take from me. Something in her manner made me go all out and place my trust in her. At the beginning of this year, I would never have believed that I could feel the way I do today, brighter and lighter.

Whilst I have a some way to go, am certain that with Dr. Vrushali’s medical care and attention, I’d win my battle with depression for good.

I read the reviews in practo and decided to pay a visit. I was not suffering from major mental illness, only I wanted a general counselling for my relationship issues and confidence. But she prescribed three or four nervous medicines and one medicine for palpitation and sleeping pills just in one visit. I was told to visit her after 20 days. I was later explained by another clinic that my case should be handled by a psychologist and not a psychiatrist as I do not have major mental illness.

My new psychologist is doing a thorough study of my behaviour instead of just one visit before coming into any conclusion or medicines.*** ***** ******* ******* ****** **** ***** ******* **** *** *** **** ** ********** If a doctor finds out that this is not his/her case, he/she should be honest to tell that to the patient as we patients are laymen.

Dr. Vrushali listens to your every query and give a time to explain your problems.

Dr. Shenoy is my second psychiatrist and I do not regret my decision to start consulting with her. She is a good listener, and has been supportive throughout.

PS: No matter how grief or shallow the problem, talking to someone always helps. If the nature of problem is like that of mine, where you can't really share it with my people, going to a psychiatrist always helps.

Dr. Vrushali has been a great help for me to come of the depression i was suffering since long time, due to which i had a very low self-esteem, confidence and what not. She patiently listened to all my problems and counseled me to through it, we had multiple session and every session helped to get out of it step by step. She not only guided me through sessions but also recommend me some good books to help me and some basic mind exercises. And as im from medical field itself she doesn't even charged me for the whole treatment, that was very kind of her. Inshort i would just like to say if you are suffering from any emotional distrubness, depression, etc dont just keep it to yourself and suffer, instead just go out for help, and in that case Vrushali mam can definitely be the best help, you might get.And yes she is definitely a very inspiring and positive person.🙂
