His DM thesis on Pituitary Tumors- Outcomes of Various Modalities of Treatment is one of the largest studies on the subject in Indian literature.He was awarded the prestigious ‘Smt Bhandarkar Memorial Award’ for academic excellence in the DM examination and a special citation by the University of Bombay for securing the highest marks amongst all candidates appearing for super specialty examinations.After passing the DM examination, Dr Phadke worked as a Lecturer in Endocrinology at KEM Hospital Mumbai for about 6 months before he returned to Pune to start his practice.Dr Phadke also holds an advanced Endocrine preceptorship from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.In 2015, Dr Phadke was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the American College of Endocrinology- FACE.Dr. Phadke has wide experience in treating patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders. He has keen interest in teaching and has been involved in training postgraduate students of medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics. He has been a regular speaker at various national and international fora and has conducted more than 500 CME’s and workshops for physicians across the country. He is a post graduate guide for the diabetes certification program conducted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons.As a recognition of his efforts in Diabetes education, he was conferred the title of Conjoint Clinical Faculty in the Dept of Medicine by the University of Newcastle Australia.In June 2016 Dr Phadke was awarded the Vivian Fonseca Scholar Award by the American Diabetes Association for the best original research focusing on South Asian population. Dr Uday cleanly diagnose endocrine diseases and get patients started on correct treatment.
I was having few medical conditions back in 2012 and visited many doctors. No one was able to diagnose it and I wasted* 8-10 months getting treated for things which i wasn’t even suffering thru. They were trying to solve the symptoms and not get to the root cause.
I eventually went to meet Dr Uday and he got to the root issue and diagnosed a benign tumour in my pituitary gland. He discussed with me in detail about the issues and the probable treatment courses. He with conviction discussed that this tumour can be treated with medicines and I shouldn’t go
for a high risk operation. I kept my faith in him ( though many doctors advised a operative procedure).
Today in 2018 the latest MRI shows that the tumour is completely vanished. I can’t thank him enough.

The hospital might be good but absolute mismanagement in assigning appointments.. no use of booking a time.. and the staff is so rude... Absolutely you feel insulted.. there is a receptionist Miss Deepali... Absolute rudeness....

Doctor Phadke might be one of the leading endocrinologist in Pune city but think thousand times before approaching him for obvious reasons, no explanation of the disorder, N number of tests tike pet CT and what not for whatsoever xyz reason. Secondly, Dr Phadke diagnosed hypopituitarism and hence to reduce the inflammation, he kept my husband on a medicine for a year long almost ***** ** ** *** *** ****** ** **** * ******** *** when we followed him up on phone, he denied to reduce the dosage.

Since he came highly recommended I went to see him at Ruby Hall where I had to wait for over a hour for my turn. In less than 3 minutes I was out ! He was most dismissive, did not show any empathy and countered my questions with " are those who've sent you to me doctors ? If not don't bother with their opinions " !!
Dr. Uday Phadke is an excellent Doctor.
He doe not bombard the patient with unnecessary heavy medicines. He identifies the disorders of the patient at a very early stage & treats it so that the patient recovers very soon, especially for thyroid disorders.
Many other doctors, even at some multi-speciality hospitals, failed to identify & treat the disorder. But,he did it very well.
My experience with him was excellent & I would recommend him.

He does not give enough time to patients. He needs to work on listening the issues of patients. He needs to give time to patients and calmly answer and clear all the doubts of patients. Questions from patients needs to answered by taking good amount of time so that patient is clear in his / her mind.
Diseases like thyroid / diabetes and Addison are very crucial. handling them through assistant doctors and giving couple of minute to a patient while charging them INR 800 for that is not worth by any means is what I feel.

Dr. Uday Phadake Sir has given me new hope for my life. i was suffering from Kallaman Syndrome. Till the age of 27, I looked like a child. I had no facial hair, no deep voice, underdeveloped sexual organs. Than i found Dr. Uday Phadake on internet. I visited to Dr. Phadake and he recommended me some test and after that my life changes altogether. Dr. Phadke recommend me some medicine and after 8 months I there are significant changes in my body. Now I have deeper voice, lots of facial heirs, and my sexual organs are also improving. I found that the Dr should give more time to patients as we have take leave from work to attend the appointment. On my past visit, I didn't find any kind of satisfaction as the Dr just asked to repeat previous medicines and didn't do proper checkup. Felt like I wasted my day fr just 5mins appointment. Didn't find the visit toooo satisfactory since the Dr didn't give sufficient time to me as compared to the fees amount they charge
.
Hoping this will improve and request to give proper treatment and time to every patient as everyone's time values alot.

I will surely recommend doctor with no doubt.He is truly genuine person. He will give TRUE and unbiased advice listening to your current health issue instead of enforcing one with host of unwanted tests and medicines when it is not required at all.I am satisfied to visit his clinic and the way he addressed my health issue.
