I am writing this review with all my heart and emotions. Dr. Shalaka Shimpi Mam is amazing human being, a mother, guide, caring in understanding the problems make the patients feel so comfortable and relax. She is energetic, positive and encouraging *** ********* ************* *******During the last phase of trimester, my sugar levels are very high and have consulted other gynaecologists and asked me to hospitalized immediately for medications and is not safe for mother and baby..Finally my prayers are answered and directed to meet Dr shalaka Shimpi mam. We consulted the mam for high sugar levels and safe delivery procedures. Mam has checked all my medical records and explained me very well and made feel so comfortable in answering all my queries and directed me me with good dietician for my high sugar level control and has not suggested any medication and asked to follow the good simple diet.The Day before delivery. I checked my sugar levels which are under control and felt so happy with the simple diet and avoided the unnecessary medications and hospitalization expenses for which other doctors suggested.Finally ,we are blessed with little princess under Dr Shalaka Shimpi mam supervisory treatment for Elective Delivery Procedure and was delivered on 20th january,2020. Myself and Little Princess are safe in her hands and we both are keeping good and well.We are grateful to have Dr. Shalaka Shimpi mam in our life ...Thank you Mam for being with me and supportive Love you loads 💕💕Manasi Pawar.

This super positive review is for Dr. Shalaka Shimpi.I am glad to share with you all about the most wonderful phase of my life.. my pregnancy and it became pleasant because of shalaka maam. This year when Covid second wave was at its peak, I started showing all symptoms and got very nervous because I was in my third month of pregnancy. By that time I was taking treatment from very renowned doctor in my area but didnt get expected response because of Covid situation. I was looking for a doctor who will give me moral support in that crucial phase. I already knew her name through PuLa (A group on Facebook)and took her on call appointment. She was very patient with all my silly questions and level of anxiety, she gave the most important thing at that time, confidence of me and my baby will be totally fine even if I am Covid positive and told me all necessary precautions to be taken.Two days later, I tested positive and was admitted in hospital for 8 days, my husband was in constant touch with her throughout my hospital stay and she was available for all our silly doubt. She was the exact doctor I was looking for. Post that all my pregnancy journey was in experienced and safe hands and hence became a memorable one.Since it was my first pregnancy, I was very scared about the 'delivery' and labour phase she even gave me confidence that I can go for normal delivery and to my own surprise I delivered healthy baby girl normally on 16th Oct. Hello, i am Rutuja More. I had visited Dr Shalaka Shimpi mam for my pregnancy. It was not a sudden decision for me to go to her but was very much decided from long that whenever I will be pregnant she will be the one I will go for. This is because i had been reading her success stories and also listened good reviews from friends and Facebook… Besides somehow i had a huge trust on her. I was so sure of her doing normal deliveries.

I being in my age of mid 30 and also weighing healthy was already at a challenging pregnancy. It was my first one.

Despite of this she ensured in her entire treatment that i will not get to risk of sugar and blood pressure.

I got a normal delivery as I wished to and this could not have been possible for any other than her. Anyone who hears this is surprised. As heavy weighed is always thought of having a c section. She just said lets try for normal and it gave me confidence. In my contractions i lost my patience to tolerate but she kept it high by ignoring my request of pain reliefs and c section. It was a long hour process for me before the sweet outcome.

She is a very friendly person, i developed a huge trust in her which also helped me in my last process.

I am very thankful to Mam for these lovely journey of mine with all her guidance on health, diet, exercises, time to time treatments and check ups.

Motherhood is a beautiful journey in a woman’s life.Its a Joyous as well nerving experience. The news of pregnancy comes with lot of happiness , Anxiety, and anticipation for upcoming days.the most crucial point which can make or break this experience is having a good gynaecologist. A would-be mother has Lot of questions running in her mind and in this phase, the gynaecologist plays a very important role. i am so glad that I had Dr Shilpi to guide me through this entire phase.I first met Shimpi Maam for some issue related infection and since then I am consulting her.

Before conceiving my first born I took her guidance and I am grateful that she provided me right guidance with proper medication. Because of her, my pregnancy journey was smooth. I enjoyed each and every day. She is very calm, and patient . She would explained everything in detail and would listen to the tiniest query with utmost sincerity.She is always available to answer your query And before proceeding with any treatment or procedure she explains everything properly to help the patient make right decision.

* ***** **** ** ***** **** *** ******* **** *** when you are charging a whopping 850/- for less than 5 mins of consultation you better make the patient satisfied and comfortable paying the fee. I was in tremendous amount pain(dysmenorrhea) all she did was made me lie down pressed my abdomen and told me I need to do sonography (Which cost me extra 1200/- she asked me to do it outside) in order to find out the cause of the pain. ***** *** *** * ***** ***** *** ** *** ********* ******** ** ***** ** *** ******** *** **** ** ****** * ********** ******* ** **** *******

For this less than 5 mins of consultation she charged me 850/-

Excuse me for repeating the amount. I'm ready to pay 2000/- as well if you are educating/ satisfying me enough what actually causes the pain. * **** ******* ** ***** ***** *** * ******* ****** *** *** ******* *** this time it was unbearable and my family was worried. So I decided to visit her after my mom had read her article on PULA(Facebook group for women in Pune).

She practices with her husband, who had almost 6-7 patients waiting. I was her last one. But she rushed me for some reason. When she gave me the prescription I sat there for around 30-45 sec to ask her few questions, but I guess she had better things to do. So i ended up leaving the clinic.

Long story short, never visiting her again. When you charge this amt, you can at least educate the patient more on the subject, rush less, be more empathetic, ** ******** There are plenty of others who genuinely want to help people and educate them. Speaking out of experience.

HOPE YOU DON'T COME FOR ME

Recently visited Dr. * ***** ** ** *********** * *** **** ** ***** ** **** ***** ******* ** ***** **** I have visited because i need to have confidence and care for me for my pregnancy as i am dealing with PCOD and want assistance for my pregnancy which me and my partner planning..Rather than medicines i was looking for empathy/sympathy you can say. Now talking about treatment i think she seems to be very busy she just checked me for 2 3 minutes and charged me such amount of fee.. Dr Madam doesn’t bother to answers my doubts. I was seeking help from her but like i told you she was busy. I didn’t get even a single smile. The medicine she offered me thats was the same which i was already having*** * ******* ********* **** ***** *** * **** * ****** ** ****** ***** ** ** ******** ** *** * ******* ***** *** ** ********* Her assistant Dr was quite nice and polite and worked for me so that was positive thing which i can say.

Fees - fees is very high.. normal/middle class person cannot afford. * *** **** * * ***** ** ** ******** ** ** *** ****** ** ******* ***** ********

Management is also poor, single receptions was handling all stuff like billing, appointments, medicine, visitors handling and of course Ma’am instructions over phn.. it was very messy.

Overall my experience is very bad and just wanted to tell my experience because i think it will help other ladies before going.. I know Dr Ma’am might be doing some exceptional work that she should continue however, can work on the thing above.

I am Sunita Rebello. This was my first visit with Dr. Shalaka Shimpi for gynecological problems. She comforted me and assured me that my condition would improve with time. She is very confident and positive about her treatment. She is an amazing person, she listened to me patiently and answered all my queries.

Dr. Shalakha Shimpi, is a blessing to the society, the way she handles critical high risk pregnancy cases is appreciated. We were able to celebrate our parenthood only because of that Angel..She is a solution to all your problems. We were lucky to have her as a gyno in our life..

I visited Dr Shalaka for menopause related problems. In the first visit itself she comforted me and gave me assuarance that things will get better with time. She is very confident and positive about the treatment. It's almost a month since I have visited and I feel much better already.

The best part is that the dr and her staff is very approachable.

Am taking my teenaged daughter to Dr. Shalaka Shimpi for treatment of PCOD. She has the right knack of talking to young girls and making them comfortable, but also when it needs some knuckle rapping, doing it subtly.

Also, is good in explaining the issue in terms that non medico people can understand. It is a wait and watch game for us, so the final outcome is something that all of us will work upon, but till now, our experience has been very positive.
