Dr. Pranav Thusay is a renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Pune. Dr. Thusay completed his primary medical degree from M. I. M. E. R medical college,Pune. After completion, he finished speciality training in the field of General surgery from one of the highest ranked hospitals in Mumbai ( Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital and research centre). He then pursued his super-speciality training in the field of Plastic surgery (M. Ch) from prestigious Sardar vallabhai patel institute and medical college, Ahmedabad ,Gujarat. Under the able guidance of his mentors, he trained in all aspects of general plastic,reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. He was the first resident to get intra-residency fellowship in Microsurgery/Nerve and Hand surgery at university of Bern, Switzerland. Under the guidance of Dr. Mihai Constantinescu, he underwent sub-speciality training and gathered rich experience in the field of microsurgery at Bern, Switzerland and got well versed and well known for his skills in flap based reconstruction. Along with reconstructive aspect of plastic surgery ,he received extensive training in aesthetic breast,ear and body contouring Surgeries. He also completed his training in advanced aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery from Brussels,Belgium under the mentorship of pioneer of breast surgery - Dr. Moustapha Hamdii.
