Dr. Nitin Pai is Consultant and Head of Gastroenterology and GI Endoscopy services at the Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune. During his DM training, he observed, assisted in and performed all diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures including gastroscopies, colonoscopies, ERCP, motility studies, manometry and PH studies.Dr. Pai also underwent training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy under Dr. Amit Maydeo at the world-renowned "Digestive Diseases Center" in Mumbai for a year (2003-04). Here he assisted in and performed advanced therapeutic procedures including biliary and pancreatic ERCP, EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection in early GI cancers), EUS (endoscopic ultrasonography), APC (argon plasma coagulation) and enteral stenting procedures. This center is one of the leading training units in the world, where many young endoscopists enroll for hands-on training in advanced procedures especially ERCP. More than 1000 ERCPs are done here annually, and Dr. Pai had the opportunity of performing more than 100 ERCP procedures independently during his training.In the early years of his career, Dr. Pai was one of the few gastroenterologists trained in EUS (endoscopic ultrasonography) and performing therapeutic EUS procedures such as pseudocyst drainage, mass FNAC staging for lymph nodes, and celiac ganglion block. He was one of the first GI Endoscopists to start placement of Bariatric Intra Gastric Balloon for Morbid Obesity while the procedure was still nascent in India.

I am a extremely satisfied with tangible results of treatment. I have been going through treatment from Doctor Nitin Pai and Surgeon Dr Sujay Hegde from 2018 till today.
I have been getting very comprehensive treatment from Doctor Pai and his team at large. Specially yesterday the OT was looking like battlefield where it looked like army was being serviced by Florence Nightingale.
Vibrant and dynamic leadership of Doctor Nitin Pai makes the difference. I specially liked his commanding voice and the mantra that he chants which really radiates energy.

I have taken my father to Dr. Pai as he was suffering from Constipation and one of my relative has suggested his name.
when we visited him, his assistant took all his history as Dr. Pai was not there. once he came he advised us to do some testing like endoscopy, colonoscopy which we had already done before and every thing was normal. but as per Dr. Pai he want himself to see personally and then only he can start the treatment. Although these were costly tests but we decided to go ahead and do the testing hoping to get good treatment.
We did the tests next day and Dr. Pai himself has done these tests. once the tests were done, the nurse after some time gave us the reports stating every thing is normal. Doctor didnt bothered to meet either patient or us to discuss his findings and next line of treatment and left the hospital. when we enquired about him the staff told that he has already left and he has not given any instructions for you. When we insisted to get his opinion he gave the message that tell them to continue their existing treatment.
We want Dr. Pai to reply to my comment as any patient comes to him hoping to get good treatment.

He does not care about what happened to the patient, what is the history of patient. He was just asking to do some test which are most expensive (3600) *** *** ******* ** *** ******* ***** He does not want to know what happen before and what exactly happen and how do you feel which is normally any doctor asking. He was not care about patient health. I thing doctor does not have time to give for patient he was in hurry and not interested answered any queries asking by us also told us "just do what ever I said" first time I seen this kind of doctor. Will not recommend to any body

I had hyper acidity problem may be, when i eat something after 15 mins i feels like ometing, I have visited several hospitals before but no result but when i visited doctor Nitin Pai sir at Pai Clinic and Diagnostic Centre
1] Simple and clear to interact with patient.
2] Doctor does not jump to conclusions, he does a thorough investigation to diagnose the problem.

I was suffering from rare disease called achalasia cardia since last 20 years, I was not able to swallow food nor able to drink a glass of water this resulted in series of weight losses. Dr Nitin Pai have treated this disease by performing surgical procedure called POEM. It's rare surgical procedures but the experience and expertise of Dr Nitin Pai have made it very easy simple and painless for me. I was fully fit and able to work on 3rd day of surgery. Now I can eat food in much easier way in fact now realise that eating food and drinking water can be so easy

I had visited the doctor for my stomach ache.I have paid 800/- fee towards consultation.Dr ask me 2 to 3 questions n write down medicines.He has not ask anything related to my pain n all.I felt i had spoiled my visit n my money too.I had paid around 3500/-including medicine and Const fees for 2 minutes Dr intervention.He has not given hardly 1 to 2 minutes to me and leave to his operation ward.I have felt that why I have chosen this hospital n doctor ??will never go again n never suggest anyone.

I would NOT recommend this Doctor to anyone. First of all, he will not be in his clinic even if you go on alloted time. I have waited nearly 45 minutes for hime to come. He doesn't respect your time. Secondly, I felt, he recommend for lab tests that are way too costly and not value for moneyy. He listened to the patient history properly. Then he advised possible solutions. He gave us the confidence that he first will try esophageal dilation and if needed will put stent.
We found him precise and values everybody's time.

Since last six months I was facing a problem of loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea,vomiting,nausea & due to that I lost weight around 10Kg. I thought it is acidity & got treatment from many doctors but it was not cured.
