Consulted Dr. Sumit Shah for Basal Cell Cancer of tip of nose.

My 79 year old mother had a blackish lump on the tip of her nose and we are suddenly told that she was diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma. We consulted Dr. Sumit Shah and he suggested we do surgery. We were a bit scared listening to the word Cancer but Dr. Sumit Shah guided us through the whole treatment plan and explained us the procedure in details. Everything went smoothly and she recovered very quickly. Not only her lump has been removed but her nose also looks perfectly fine like before. I can't thank Dr. Sumit Shah and his entire team at Prolife Cancer Centre enough for all the support and care given to my mother.

Visited Cancer Surgeon Dr. Sumit Shah for Oral Cancer

My mother was complaining of a lump in her mouth for the last two months so we showed her to Dr. Sumit Shah at Prolife Cancer Centre and Research Institute. She was diagnosed with Tongue Cancer and Dr. Shah suggested us to go for Surgery. He explained us the treatment plan in detail and with that trust we went ahead with Oral Cancer Surgery. Everything went well and her recovery was quicker than we expected. Prolife Cancer Centre is really one of the best Cancer Hospitals in Pune and Dr. Sumit Shah is an excellent Cancer Surgeon. His staff there is well skilled and took proper care of my mother. I m really thankful to Dr. Sumit Shah for treating my mother.

Few months back my mother complaint of having pain and feeling of lump near her breast region. As she is 52 year old, we decided to take action as soon as possible. We shortlisted the best oncologist surgeon for breast cancer in Pune, and thats when we came across Dr. Sumit Shah and decided to come see him. We come from a small district called Kurduwadi so we were a little wary but Dr. Shahs team took great care of us.

One meeting with Dr. Shah ruled out all my fear n doubts n i knew i was in safe hands and didnt need to think twice before going ahead with the set protocol for Biopsy n then the Surgery too.

Details related to needed tests, reports, medical admission, procedure charges, billings, etc everything was shared with complete transperency which helped us prepare for the same.

Dr Sumit Shah, Dr Neha Shah and all the team of doctors, nurses, attendants ensured complete patience, care n empathy throughout the processes, from admission to discharge which enabled me to get bck home in three days post operation feeling empowered to face my medical condition bravely n confidently.

I hope my honest review helps others too take right decisions for themselves if a need ever arises to be guided to an Excellent Doctor.🙏🏼

Consulted Dr. Sumit Shah for Oral Cancer Surgery.

We visited Dr. Shah at Prolife Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Pune and one meeting with Dr. Shah explained us all procedure , risk of flap failure , need for redo surgery and we went ahead with the set protocol for Surgery.

My brother underwent Oral Cancer surgery and Plastic Surgery with minimal incision under cancer surgeon Dr. Sumit Shah and plastic surgeon Dr. Amit Mulay. Their entire staff was very helpful and kind throughout the whole procedure.

Unfortunately on his post-op day 4, there was collection of drain in his neck region so he had to undergo surgery again. The surgery was successful and since then the recovery has been smooth and quicker than expected. His health is getting better and he is now getting discharged

Even the hospital management was quite considerate regarding our procedure billing and finance.

We are thankful to entire team of prolife hospital guiding and helping us .Thank you so much for taking such good care of my brother.

My wife had difficulty in swallowing a year back so I took the treatment of our family doctor. Her complaints were on and off but never went away. That's when our doctor investigated further and recommended us to Dr. Sumit Shah at Prolife Cancer Centre, Pune.

The day we first came to meet Dr. Shah we were very scared and worried about her condition but Dr. Shah provided us the moral boost and explained to us the step by step treatment and the duration. I must say talking to Dr. Shah reduced our worries to tenfold. My wife has nodule in thyroid . She underwent surgery at prolife. Here recovery was very smooth with no change in voice . She started eating in the evening We are very happy and content to have come to him for the treatment. His patient connection and the positive attitude was a relief to me. The staff here was very cooperative and supportive.

We are usually scared to go to a hospital but coming here and seeing the infrastructure and the hygiene of this hospital was a total relief to us. Everyone was so attentive and patient with us and I'm thankful to Dr. Shah and his team for taking such good care of my wife.

Due to my financial problem I was not able to afford the bill for the oral cancer treatment of my mom . But Dr Sumit Shah understood this issue and helped us with the finance.

I never thought that someone from my family will suffer with cancer. The day when I came to know that my father has oral cancer, my whole family members were in shock. We were worried due to mainly 2 reasons 1. My father’s age (as he’s 72 years old) and 2. Complexity in treatment process.

It started with minor dental pain and when we meet dentist he recommended for an Oncologist. I vigorously searched for best oncologist in Pune. During my search process I found Dr. Sumit Shah’s name and I thought to give him a try. Dr. Shah is incredible. He devotes much time to the patients and their queries. The day I met him, my search came to end. The way he explained about the disease, operation procedure (neck dissection) and recovery process was EXTRAORDINARY. He calmly and patiently explained all doubts and assured us nothing to worry. This gave us peace of mind and we decided to go with treatment process as per Dr. Shah.

My father went under successful operation in last month and he’s quickly recovering from it. During the hospitalization period, unlike many doctors, Dr. Shah was available on WhatsApp and responded immediately to the queries/needfulness, which was a big sigh of relief. Now my father is doing well and follow-up is continuing.

Appreciate Dr. Shah taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. The staff and the medical assistant were very nice and helpful. The appointment follow-up is wonderful (although they missed once in my case).

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Visited for Laproscopic Hysterectomy and breast cancer treatment

My wife Mrs. Sunita Bodare, 39 years old diagnosed breast cancer in 2019. At that time she received treatment, surgery and chemotherapy done by Dr. Sumit Shah. Now in the last 6 months she had pain so we met Dr. Shah. Then on pet scan we found she has diseases back in bones. So Dr. Shah advised biopsy and the report showed hormone positive so as per Dr. Shah's advice she underwent Laproscopic Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salphingoophorectomy. We are from Lonand, Satara. Dr Makrand Dombale is our family doctor and under Dr. Shah and Dr. Dombale, are taking good care of our patient. Dr. Shah and his team at Prolife Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Pune, are very kind and helpful.

Visiting for Breast Cancer Chemotherapy at Prolife Cancer Centre and Research Institute

My sister-in-law Mrs. Shubhangi Kadam, who is 39-year-old, underwent surgery for Breast Cancer which was done by Dr. Sumit Shah. Now we are visiting Prolife Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Pune for her chemotherapy. We come from Jejuri city and right from booking an appointment to the process of cycles everyone from the staff has been co-operative.
