Thank you for ranting out your displeasure online for everyone to view. It has also given us an opportunity to share our side of the story. It also shows our genuine patient base and not a show of only positive paid reviews like many others have suddenly cropped up with. First and foremost, no one forced you into anything. When you visit a clinic, you request for a treatment at your preferred time and NOT ORDER IT. I have all the records so I can tell you that you visited us on 3rd of August 2015, which was a Monday and spoke to the reception that you want to get a root canal done. Now, the reception is trained to direct any and every patient to the doctor for a consultation and to DECIDE by the doctor as well as the patient as to what treatment is necessary. For that you were informed and with your consent you came in for a consultation and an xray for which you were charged the said Rs. 500/- (all such charges are clearly mentioned on my website http://www.smilekraftdentistry.com/why-choose-us/dental-treatment-fees-cost-pune.html ). Any doctor would need to check and confirm if any treatment is required and how to go about it and cannot merely rely on your want of getting a RCT done. All such charges were told and justified to you in our first meeting itself.
Regarding your demand of getting it done only on a weekend, well you were called twice as you mentioned, first for that same Saturday's appointment, which was the 8th of August, for which you said no and then later for another time during the week day. Again, the clinic works on its schedule and with many patients everyday. We try our best to give and work with appointments to everyone's convenience, although if the schedule doesn't allow us at some specific days due to being booked by other patients, we request the other patients for alternative days. Its pretty polite and fair to do so for everyone. Thus you weren't singled out for no reason. If suppose you are finding it difficult to get an appointment at your preferred time, then you can try for some other days as well, which happens everywhere. There was no point in being adamant about it and forcing the staff and talking rudely to them to give an appointment on a weekend when its not possible. Now, after calling you twice and receiving a cold response regarding your seriousness for the treatment, the staff mentioned it to me for which I personally instructed them to not call and bother you and wait for your call at the time you were prepared to get the treatment done. After which, when you landed at the clinic after your mentioned 1.5+ month wait, you tried to create a scene at the clinic without having the decency to try to resolve any issue with the doctor first. I was lucky at that point of time that there were other patients as well who saw and heard our conversations and found out how ridiculous and unreasonable your demands were. They laughed about it simply stating that if one needs an appointment from a doctor then its their duty as well to try to fit in with the schedule and not just order the doctor to do the treatment only according to their mentioned time and way.
I'm sorry for this lengthy reply, but it seemed necessary as this was a first and hopefully the last sour experience that even we had with you at the clinic.
Please take care.
