Over new year's Eve, I was struggling with severe discomfort and pain. I was worried as to whom to consult over New Year's day and hesitantly whatsapp'd Dr.Rayate to check his availability. He immediately confirmed and asked me to meet him the same evening. Dr. Rayate identified my issue as External Thrombosed Piles and advised me to undergo a laser sphincterotomy at the earliest. In the interim he had prescribed medicines and sitz bath which made the pain very much bearable. I underwent surgery after the necessary pre-op tests and it is more than couple of months now. I'm fit and back to normal. Dr Rayate is extremely friendly and easily approachable. He exhibits keeness to explain the medical terminologies in layman terms for his patients to understand their health which also helps us take informed decisions. He's also available for any questions or clarifications over phone which was extremely helpful during the COVID times. I would highly recommend Dr. Rayate for any surgical needs which fall within his purview.

Dr Rayate has a very relaxed demeanor and makes you comfortable so that you can share the most about issue at hand. He hears you out completely and then goes on to make his assessment. In my case (Fissure in Ano), the previous doctor had directly recommended a surgery but Dr Rayate advised medicines as the first line of defense and only when it didn't work (the situation was not getting better even after 6 weeks), we went ahead with spinchterotomy on my request.
