I have delivered my baby boy on 5th January 21 via normal delivery. Started my consultation with her in my 6th month. We were not sure in the beginning as we found her a little strict but now i m grateful as she did what exactly needed for the normal delivery. I had pregnancy sugar but with her perfect guidance of diet and exercise i could control my suger levels.
Even after my sugar level were in control i was not getting contractions and was full term (39 week ) but still as my main concern was to have a normal delivery we decided to wait for one more week but still the situation was not in our favor. But still Dr Madhuri was hopeful for the normal delivery. To b honest having a normal delivery with the baby weighing 3.740 kg is next to impossible as i also had pregnancy sugar. But with her perfect guidance and support i was able to sustain in labour for 20 hours.
It was very difficult as because of lack of knowledge and misunderstanding about epidural (painless delivery ) we choose not to go with this options which was suggested by doctor.
But with faith in mam's knowledge and my willpower i could bear all the pain and delivered my prince after 20 hours in labour. I m grateful to her that she had not forced me for cesarean (c section) even after such long wait.
Thank you so much mam for all the support and patience you showed thought my pregnancy journey.. And as i have already told you it was worth of taking 1 month to found you and choose you as my guide for the best journey of my life..
I welcomed my baby on 24th December 2020, at Motherhood Hospital under the guidance of extremely knowledgable and experienced Dr. Madhuri Laha. From the beginning I was planning for a normal delivery and under the guidance of her she gave me options that can help me achieve it, being, prenatal yoga, walking, exercising. She made sure my pregnancy was handled very carefully and patiently throughout and made sure to have a complete idea about my history beforehand. Since I am a Chronic hypertension patient controlling my fluctuating blood pressure and stress management was a challenge but my doctor helped me throughout and made me at ease. The prenatal yoga and walking also helped.
However in my 36-37 week, my anxiety levels increased to an extent that I started stressing out about the overall labor experience and I willingly opted for Cesarean delivery. When I discussed it with my doctor she explained me everything in detail about it and even the aftercare. She respected my decision and went forward by it. In the end I just want to say THANK YOU for making this phase of my life pass by just the way I wanted it.
Glad that I chose Dr. Madhuri Laha as my gynac. It was my first pregnancy and I was desperate for a normal delivery. I had a smooth pregnancy through out, but at at the end there were many challenges for a normal delivery. So initially, I felt she is like any normal gynac. But then hats off to her experience and willingness for a normal delivery at the end.The first challenge I faced around 35th week was pregnancy cholestasis. It is suggested (even per Google), baby should be delivered by 37th week of pregnancy in such case. So when my chances of a normal delivery seemed bleak at 37th week being too early, doctor suggested to take a calculated risk, since some of my test parameters weren't bad. She started frequently monitoring health of my baby upto 2 weeks. After that I had natural labor during 39th week. But during my labor, at the end, baby had eaten her poop and in that case immediate c-section is necessary. But even then since baby's heart rate was monitored and it was normal, doctor asked us if we would take this calculated risk and wait for normal delivery and we agreed. After all these challenges , because of doctor's expertise and willingness I delivered a baby girl normally.Would definitely recommend her.
I would like to share my whole pregnancy period story in short because it was like roller coaster ride with huge amount of risk involved and thanks to Madhuri maam only because of which this ended with normal delivery.Madhuri maam was always our preference for 2nd baby as my first baby delivery was also done by her and we were very happy with experience. Today where we hear lot about c section Madhuri maam always try first for normal delivery. So here is my story...I tested positive for covid in my 7th month. My mother in law and Brother in law passed away in covid. my husband and myself tested positive. at that time we were in Mumbai. Post online covid treatment, I tested negative but my water level goes down till 5 and my IL6, CRP, D dimer level increases. after a week, again I had viral infection post that joint pain started. my leg become elephant kind leg and I was having so much pain that I couldn't even walk.I visited many gynec there and all suggested for emergency c section delivery at 8th month only. we were so much worried and negative. we wanted to come to Pune but gynec said to avoid travel. but I spoke to Madhuri maam and came to Pune. Madhuri maam immediately started treatment. and after a month water level increased to normal level. she also asked us to refer ortho for joint pains post which pain reduced. And finally on 11th dec natural labor pain started and I had normal delivery with healthy baby. I am thankful to Madhuri ma'am for putting all effort and making it possible. Madhuri ma'am came as an angel in our life else we all lost our hope for normal delivery. Thank you Madhuri ma'am for all effort you put and you done for us.
Thank you madam for your great assistance for successful delivery of our baby under stress times. We were planning for normal delivery till last day of our final visit and everything was perfect until 04th Jan morning however during day time my wife's water bag leaked and we reached Motherhood hospital without any delay to get it checked and expecting this is normal. The surprise came in just 10 mins that my wife had Cord Pro Lapse the term that which we heard for the first time and life critical for baby. My wife had food so its also difficult for doctor to manage her on Anaesthesia. However thanks to experience of Dr Madhuri Madam and prompt staff of Motherhood Hospital who had their first cord pro lapse case handled it with perfection and delivered baby for us without issues. May god bless this team and Dr. Madhuri.

Not at all good...I don't recommend this doctor...we consulted her in motherhood. Our experience was not smooth and my wife was PIH ,high risk patient...we had to change the doctor just before delivery **** ** **** *******
-very Arrogant doctor
-she doesn't explain your test reports or problems.**** ********* ****** ****** if you expect your doctor to explain you the health problems and treatment atleast for 2-3 mins then she is not the one.
- you get high bills without any satisfaction in treatment
Hi this is Swati Chitroda wanted to share my experience with Dr Madhuri Laha.
The punch line "Normal Delivery Doctor" really proves true with Dr Madhuri Laha, highly experience, full of confidence, well versed with her patient situations, agility in decisions, quick response time and polite by nature....and many more things about her which can only be experienced. I highly recommend her for a lady who is having complexity still wants normal delivery then only option is Dr Madhuri Laha.
In my case during the 26th week of pregnancy Stomach bubble colaps detected, which could leads to possibility of Tracheoesophageal ************************************* but fortunately due to her encouragement and confidence i was in condition to keep my pregnancy without any dualmind and deliverd a beautiful baby normally.

Review for Dr. Madhuri Laha
Hospital: Motherhood (Pune, Kharadi).
My wife and I both are not from Pune (or even Maharashtra). During the early pregnancy we were consulting on of the big Dr. in Deccan for our second child. However as the nationwide lock down started, we were looking for any good Dr. nearby (Kharadi or Magarpatta City). One of our neighbor gave her reference that, they were consulting to Dr. Madhuri Laha, and came to know that she was waiting almost for 12 hrs. in April month lockdown and successfully deliver baby. It was amaze to hear that any dr. who is waiting for 12 hrs. for a normal delivery.
We went to Motherhood hospital with appointment first time in May month. The junior Dr. took all past histories and reports. First meeting with Dr is for maximum 8-10 mins. There was hardly much discussion, she talked on normal diet mostly and gave only two medicine and asked to have daily walks. We felt like, is it really good as there was not much interaction with her. But after consulting for 6-7 months and finally we understand she was just perfect. If there is no such complication, there is nothing to discuss much, it absolutely fine.
During 34th week:
My wife felt the baby movement was less in the morning. As Dr. Madhuri suggested if we felt anything unusual that time (on just previous consulting day) come and get admitted directly. As suggested we don’t call Motherhood, just reached in the hospital. Dr. arrived and the sonography found that, the baby movement is really less. She suggested that there are two option, if it’s really require we may have to go for pre mature delivery, the other is to give saline and medicine which will be beneficial for baby’s movement increment. She clearly mentioned that we have to take call for less risk procedure (giving saline), and it actually work. After 5 hrs. we were back at home with all good. The baby movement was back as normal.
On 37Week + :
On early morning my daughter mentioned that, her water broke, and we rushed to Hospital. Wife get admitted immediately. Dr. Madhuri came and checked her and found she was having labor pain(less though). Note that, our Kid has “Double loop” on neck (which was found on earlier sonography). Despite water broke and double loop she was confident to go with normal delivery. Around 2:30 pm she take another look to my wife and said labor pain is still less and it will take few more hrs. to get the actual delivery. She also mentioned that she feel that the delivery may took around 6-7 pm.
Around 5:30 pm wife started having the intense pain. Junior dr. gave call to Madhuri maa’m and explained the same and she rushed to hospital in 10-15 mins. My wife delivered our second kid around 6:40 pm successfully. Her junior Dr. and rest of the team were too supportive as well
I was amazed to see her medical experience with the assumptions (timing), and her capability with the complexity (double loop and water broken) but still went for normal delivery. Even our Covid test result was awaiting (as we came as emergency and sample taken at hospital in the morning), but she never questioned about it. However next day we found all our Covid test came (-) ve.
Review for Dr. Madhuri Laha:
As a normal people we always want to consult “Pehchan ki” (Known) Gynecologist for delivery. I am not sure if “pehchan ki dr.” term can be applicable to Dr. Madhuri Laha or not but her diagnosis, treatment and medical choices according to situation is just like your own “pehchan ki dr.” . She always believed her own capabilities and prefer for natural delivery which is amazing. In my personal case with water broken and double loop complexity, I believe she may the rarest dr. who still chose to go for successful normal delivery.
As said, being not local to Pune or Maharashtra, we have anxiety that how we can find a dr who can go for normal delivery. And Dr. Madhuri was exactly the same kind of Dr who is well capable and still believe in normal delivery can be possible even with complex situation and actually perform it with highest proficiency.
I definitely recommend other fellow patient who believe normal delivery can still possible in current timing.
Here is my experience with Dr Madhuri Laha.for Normal delivery , i must say she must be your first option in which she is focused and determined for every delivery case. She is just superb in doing so.During this lockdown in the month of June, for the first time we consulted with Dr. Madhuri Laha, as one of my friend's refferal and we are continuing even after Baby's birth. The reason behind is the the appropriate guidance and the diet and the confidence which she give on every visit. she always focused about the food and physical activity instead of medicines even though how much difficulties u face in your pregnancy period. Earlier pregnancy time we came across the unnecessary usage medicines or injections which bill cost is more but the effect is nothing. After consulting with her, we decided not to leave pune until the delivery..Last but not least, i would take the opportunity to thank you from my heart as the delivery was a lifetime experience..
Today i visit 2nd time to doctor
But I felt today she is in hurry.. n didn't explained my reports deeply
And my appointment is @1.20 so I came before that but bcoz of rush I came doctor cabin little late so she was saying why u came late
So this is not the way to talked to patient
