I recently entrusted Dr. Kshama Kulkarni with the care of my two-month-old baby, who required bilateral pyeloplasty surgery. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, my experience with Dr. Kulkarni and her team was exceptional.

Dr. Kulkarni's expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. She took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and addressed all of my concerns with patience and empathy, which greatly reassured me as a parent.

During the surgery, Dr. Kulkarni demonstrated precision and skill, ensuring the best possible outcome for my baby. The post-operative care was also excellent, with clear instructions provided for medication, feeding, and follow-up appointments.

Not only did Dr. Kulkarni exhibit outstanding medical proficiency, but she also displayed genuine care and compassion towards my baby and our family. Her warmth and dedication made a challenging situation more manageable and instilled confidence in the care being provided.

I found this entirely true with Dr. Kshama Kulkarni who had been our best hope in those toughest of times.

In 10th June 2021 My newborn son was detected with a VUR Grade 5. We tried to search for the best doctor a pediatric surgeon and after many Google searches my wife suggested meeting Dr. Kshama Kulkarni based on the positive reviews on various websites.

The Doctor is a totally down-to-earth personality whose primary purpose is to cure the disease and not to trouble the patient/family with unnecessary tests and procedures. She informed us in great detail the problem and the various kind of Surgical options available with pros & cons of each. This really helped us in understanding the procedure and also the risks involved.

However, as a pediatric Surgeon and during & post Surgery care Dr. Kshama Kulkarni role was most critical.

Her confidence in seeing the vision of the child post surgery journey was so clear that it gave us confidence.

Finally, once the surgery finished Dr. Kshama Kulkarni called us & explained the whole procedure went as per plan and the surgery was successful.

The most elating experience was that during our 20-day stay post-surgery there was not a single day when Dr. Kshama Kulkarni did not visit even during a Sunday she was there on time. I have not seen any doctors having that level of dedication.

Finally we got discharged on the 20th day as planned and are currently on a path of recovery and am glad to see my son normally.

We thank God and Dr. Kshama Kulkarni for their great support.

My Son (9years old) was suffering from frequent Urine Infections. Initially we consulted with general physician.

But when it repeated 4-5 times, we approached Dr. Kshama Kulkarni. She diagnosed correctly & explained us that

this could happen due to Urine Reflux issue or due to some obstacles in urine path. She suggested few medical tests for confirmation. The tests confirmed that the issue is Urine Reflux.

Dr kshama mam explained us about it very well & suggested for Surgery to stop the reflux.

It was a major Open Bladder Surgery & we were under tremendous stress for the same. My son also had lot many thoughts and queries in his mind.

But Dr Kshama mam explained all the details & addressed all our queries/concerns. She also talk to my son & made him feel relaxed.

She Operated my son in Mai Mangeshkar Hospital. After the operation, She was taking regular follow ups from Hospital staff. My son could not sleep properly for two night & woke up many time during night due to pains. Hospital Staff was everytime reporting it to Kshama madam immediately even at night & she was suggesting medicine for it. She was very supporting throughout 8 days in hospital.

Now my son is recovering fast & We are very thankful to her for the right treatment and proper guidance.

My experience with Dr.Kshama Kulkarni is so far so good and she is very professional *** ****** **** ** *** ***** My new born baby was having large intestine issue and causes problems with passing stool. We have admitted him “Sahyadri Specialty Hospital” at that time my baby was having Swollen belly and he started Vomiting, including vomiting a green substance. There we have met to Dr.Kshama Kulkarni (Pediatric Surgeon) she explained baby’s situation in details and she has performed first colostomy surgery successfully to get out of baby in critical situation later we are having continues monthly follow up with her for baby’s care. We found she is very natural but same time she is very strict about patient care. I would must say she is one of the highly qualified and experienced doctor for child surgical problems. After few months she has performed pull through Hirschsprung surgery successfully at “Surya Mother & Child Super specialty Hospital” now baby is doing good and we are happy with his growth. Dr Kshama Kulkarni is a blessing for me as a parent- Surgeon par excellence. She operated on my 1.5 year old toddler for left undescended testis successfully at Surya Hospital, Wakad. I contacted her from Delhi first on telecon and was able to get good reassuring vibes ,as I talked to her about my toddlers undescended testis. She did reprimand us a bit, as parents for delaying the surgery- which is ideally done at 6 months for faster recovery. she opted for laproscopic surgery and as parents we trust her completely. if you are reading as parents. look no further. call her clinic and get the orchidopexy completed for your child's sake without delaying like me, hoping it will descend on its own. I spent about 1.4 lakh at Surya Hospital overall with a 24 hr stay in a room type, that allows 2 parents overnite, so that's your cost ball park. Surya is descent too. be mindful the hospital canteen will give milk at 8 am earliest the next day, but your toddler may be hungry earlier, since they fast prior to surgery. the Surya hospital pediatric Anesthesist is excellent too and gave Caudal anesthesia with consultation with surgeon Dr. Kshama, so my toddler was walking easy the next day in his hospital room without pain. Dr. Kshama is that good. bless your son to have a fast recovery too!

This doctor charged us more than double the amount(Rs. 1650) for consultation when we visited her in surya hospital, while only Rs. 800 is showing on practo as her consultation fees. This is not acceptable and would not recommend such a doctor. ***** ******* ****** ** ****** **** ******* **** **** **********Also, patient should be able to book appointment by practo app itself instead of calling their clinic to avoid such cases

We visited Dr Kshama for frequent UTI issue with my Daughter. She had a complicated Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) grade 5. Dr Kshama looked all the reports and took proper history of my daughter. She explained us very well about the issue and suggested a ureteral reimplantation surgery. She performed the surgery on my 4.6 years old daughter and surgery was successful. My daughter is recovering fast. We are very much happy with the way Dr. Kshama handled our daughters case. She is highly qualified and experienced in all child surgical problem. She is one of the best child surgeons in Pune. We highly recommend Dr. Kshama for Pediatrics surgical cases. Thank you Doctor.

My baby is 18 months old. He is a 32 weeks preterm n had right side hyderocel problem by birth. In some cases it gets cured automatically with time by the age of 1.5 yrs n in some cases it needs a surgery. My baby needed a surgery.

We met Dr.Kshama Kulkarni at Surya hospital where she guided us very nicely. On 24th Jun 2017 she operated my baby n also showed us pics of baby before n after surgery.

She also cooperated us for post surgery check ups n all despite of her busy schedule. Special thanks to her to support us all the way bcoz her baby us just 3-4 months old.

She is very punctual n clears all your doubts.

Do not even think of visiting this doctor, *** ** *** **** *** ********** *** *** ****** ******** She just think of doing surgery for your kid, ** ************* ** ***** *** ********** *** ******* ** ********* ****** *** ****** *** ******* *** **** does not explain report result to parents. Mai Mangeshkar Hospital also not helping patients to address this issue.

She does not even think of explaining health issues to Father/ Mother regarding issue. She tell I am a super speciality doctor and does not have time to explain.

even though , I thought of not writing this feedback but writing to make sure other parents get help from this review.
