Worst experience of my life (not especially with the Dr. Chavan but with his staff members). I had booked an appointment to see Dr. Chavan for today (10/Sep/15) in two days advance. Since my appointment was confirmed, I called clinic at 10:08 AM to check if Doctor is coming or not. Well someone replied yes, he is in office, and you may come.
Then I went to their clinic, and upon arriving, I asked the receptionist, is Dr. Chavan available? and she said "Yes", do the registration and then he will see you. I did the registration, paid the consulting fee and she asked me to wait.
After some time, she directed me to some Dr. cabin, and for my surprise, I saw a lady doctor. I asked, I want to see Dr. Chavan (because I traveled all the way for him only), isn't he available?. That lady doctor directed me back to reception, then receptionist told me, he (Dr. Chavan) is not in office and got stuck in traffic (as he is travelling from Karad). So, my obvious questions were:
1. Why did you confirm me in the morning, when I called (at 10:08 AM) ?
2. Upon arriving too, I asked, is Dr. Chavan available, then why did you say "Yes" and asked me to do registration and make payment?
She said she will check again. She went to see some other doctor and then she said, you can consult your medical problem with him. I still asked the same questions to that doctor? and then, answers were horrible.
Q: Why did you confirm me in the morning, when I called (at 10:08 AM) ?
A:. I (the receptionist) didn't confirm that he (Dr. Chavan) is available in office when you called. We have a marketing team who does that. It's not our problem. ----- Of course its the patient problem that you have a marketing team who doesn't know anything.
Q. Upon arriving too, I asked, is Dr. Chavan available, then why did you say "Yes" and asked me to do registration and make payment?
A: We (other male doctor) confirm everyone that "Yes" Dr. Chavan is available. We (some staff member) cannot say no. And when patient arrives, then some other doctor can see the patient.
And on top of all this, some staff member (Didn't know if he was a doctor too), instead of realizing the problem, started giving lecture on professionalism. Plus, said "kya kar loge, nhi hai doctor chavan abhi". I asked him the number of Dr. Chavan then his reply was "nhi deta, kya kar loge".
Well, I cannot do anything other than just posting this as a feedback. I still feel that Dr. Chavan won't be having this attitude, but the staff does. This simply wasted my time and energy, and I won't suggest to visit this place for any problem. Pune has number of other doctors who can treat their patients very nicely and with respect.
