Case of 15 yr old female. Has had epileptic convulsions for the past 5 years. Was earlier on Tegrital and now on Levipril. Becomes stable when dosage increaded but within a month, seizures return - some severe and some multiple mild attacks accompanied by delirium.

EEG shows focal epileptiform activity over right frontocentral region. MRI shows patchy gliosis in right temporo-parieto-occipital region. No focal lesion.

Father deserted when she was 2 yrs and brought up in Latur by grandparents as mother was in Pune. Since 2015, lives in my Pune house where mother works as a caretaker.

Height: 150 cms

Weight: 47 kgs

Build: Stocky and plump

Complexion: Dark wheatish

Very cheerful disposition, but weeps easily even with minor provocation, very emotional. Wants to be cuddled and hugged. Takes offense easily.

Palms always sweaty

Jerks in sleep with stiffening of left limbs

Healthy appetite, feels very hungry.

Craves for sweets and sour food

Feels hot flush in face

Severe headaches at vertex, feels as though hair is being pulled

Tingling in left arm and leg

Good at studies (7th std) but behaves like a 10 year old in desire for toys, games and friends, a bit childish.
