In a remote area of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh , She founded the Cornea department of Indira Gandhi eye hospital and served to reduce corneal blindness there specifically targetting about 70-80 cornea patients every day. She was a fellow of Cornea and ocular surface in the Temple of eye of India, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai for 2 years , and also did extensive research there for 6 months. She started her Ophthalmology career from Nagpur , and her medical education From Kem hospital Mumbai, having TOPPED the Medical entrance CET exam of Maharastra. She holds the degree of Fellow of International council of ophthalmology from United Kingdom which gives her international recognition.
