Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental SciencesDental Sciences, Mangalore in Prosthodontics securing a gold medal yet again. During his post-graduation, he had immense exposure to clinical and research work. He was awarded a certificate in implantology by Goethe University, Germany. Was selected among six prosthodontists from India for an exchange program between the Japan Prosthodontic Society and the Indian Prosthodontic Society in August 2019. Had the honour of working and observing with Prof Matsuka from Tokushima University, Japan. Received a scholarship of $ 330 from the IPS.Received the “Shradha Rajeev Shetty Award” for securing the highest marks in Prosthodontics in April 2019. Was awarded $40 from Nitte University for the same. Received the “Chittor Manjaya Shetty Memorial Award” for securing the Highest marks in the postgraduate subject of Prosthetic Dentistry in April 2019. Received the Best Paper Award at the National Indian Prosthodontic Society Conference 2018, Mangalore.

Having a dental treatment always sounds scary, but Dr Ruchir kalra makes the client feel so comfortable by explaining the issue and with his extra care, the treatment becomes much easier. I had to undergo a few number of sittings for implant, root canal treatment, but Dr ruchir made sure with his flexible appointment availability that i never felt the pressure of the treatment. He would call and check on me twice a week if i had any discomfort, which made me feel the friendly bond with the him.
