She began her career as a Medical Officer at CHC Kandaghat, where she gained hands-on experience in primary care and emergency services. She then worked for 3–4 years as a Demonstrator in the Blood Bank at PGIMS, Rohtak, during which she actively organized and managed multiple blood donation camps and was involved in blood transfusion services.
Subsequently, she served as a Medical Officer in the Government of Haryana for 19 years, where she managed extensive OPD and IPD services, maternal and child health care, and family planning programs. During this period, she was In-charge of the Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) program for nearly 10 years. she has comprehensive experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, and general medical care, and she regularly organized medical and outreach camps during her service.
she later worked for 9 years as a Deputy Civil Surgeon, handling both clinical responsibilities and administrative roles. During this time, she also served as a District Training Officer, where she was responsible for training staff nurses, LHVs, ANMs, doctors, and paramedical staff. She is a certified Trainer of Trainers (TOT) for national health programs including SBA, NSSK, FIMNCI, family planning, and sterilization services.
In addition, she worked as In-charge of the National Blindness Control Program and Referral Transport Services, contributing to program implementation, capacity building, and quality improvement in public healthcare delivery.
She retired from government service as a Deputy Civil Surgeon, and she continue to practice with a strong focus on ethical, patient-centric, and evidence-based medical care, supported by decades of clinical and public health experience.read less
