Dr. Jyoti B. Sharma

My consultation with Dr. Jyoti. B. Sharma was an excellent one. She was very good and approachable. I am extremely satisfied with her treatment. But I am not happy with the hospitality and management. Because of the tough formalities and long waiting period. The online appointments make no difference in the waiting period. On should register again in the reception and follow the token system to consult the doctor. They should take care of the appointments wisely and reduce the waiting time for a better experience.

I visited for a problem 'dessecting aneurysm' detected in MRI. I have already gone through all check up in Jaypee hospital so all reports were available with me. She has checked all reports and MRI with great patients and delt me very friendly. She advised minimum medicine and explain nicely everything. She has spared enough time to analyse the report and to explain the problem.

I strongly recommend her.

I took appointment at fortis to see her and my appt time was 3:45. She went off when i reached hospital and was told she is on rounds. How come you have rounds in between of opd and if thats the case you should not give that slot. Later her assistant told i called you yesterday about appointment issue but you didnt picked up. I dont understand if you can book appointment via portal why cant you cancel them and send messages as its not possible reciebe every call. Then her assistant told that she is in icu. Then were they aware a day before that they will get icu patients tommorow. On a previous appointment i was told same story and i myself saw her coming from lunch break. How one can be so insenstive about one’s life. I was taking treatment from her and once i got migraine attack and was in fortis noida emergency. She did not even bothered to come and see me. I was her patient but still. I waited whole week for this appointment , took half day from office , spend 350 on ola to reach. Was suffering from severe migraines and was frequently visiting emergency and on top of all this i got this. I m highly dissatisifed from this behaviour of her towards patients. I cancelled my appointment and asked money back and will never visit or recommend.

My father visited her few weeks back for a minor nerve related problem in his leg. Not only did the doctor made us take tests worth 6-7k which were not related to nerurology,

Instead she steered the case towards Parkinsons and Diabetes and gave us medicines for them.Thankfully, we went for a second opinion and the doctor immediately asked us to not take these high-potency medicines....as they were for very severe case of Parkinsons.

We strongly advice against consulting this doctor.

After waiting for hours met doctor, who was constantly taking calls during the visit and receiving files at the same time. Was very quick to prescribe medication and was in a hurry. This happened on both occasions; for a Doctor migraine maybe a smaller affliction compared to other nuero problems but does not warrant ignoring patient and not empathizing with problem and pain. Not going back and consulting another doctor.

*** ******* bad experience. I visited for migrain treatment but she just given me sleeping pills that used to made me sleep for more than 12 hours and my brain used to keep sleeping during day time. *** ******** ** ******* ***** ****** *** ******* ****** ****

We Visited Dr. Jyoti last weekend, She didn't listen our problem and just wrote some tests and after the test is done we visited her personal clinic there ,she said your problem is big and you must admitted in a hospital without Diagnosis and ask for medical policies and all.

we even don't what was the problem and without letting us know ,she told us to get admitted in a hospital.

My Mother has been had headache and giddiness since 3 last 3 years *** * ******** **** ***** ****** ** ****** My mother visited my times to Dr. Jyoti Bala Sharma (DM-Neuro). She prescribed some medicine and exercises. My mother do everything and took medicine on time. But all in vain. *** ********** *** ******* ***** **** ******** *** ***** ******* ** **** *** **** ***** ** ** ****** ** ** ********* Dr. Jyoti Bala changed the Medicine. My mother took that medicine ** **** *** *** ******** *** ********* *** ******** Waited a lot of money. ***** *** ****** *****

Bad experience. I visited for one of relative having severe headache and insomnia - and prescribed with Vit D, Calcirol and other multivitamin. ***** *** *** *** ** **** ** ******** ********* She repeated only headache medicine - which we prescribed by earlier doctor, when we show the ongoing medicine. And inspite of reminding that earlier medicine not working for headache - she prescribed for multivitamin and Calcium. No other medicines prescribed for relief of the patient!

Also, a lot of wastage of time, mostly she never respect the time.

No recommendation!

I will never recommend to visit Fortis Hospital. First they started with billing procedure **** ******* **** ** ** ***** **** * Second- number of tests like with me 20 Diagnosis tests ****** ** *** ******** ** *** **** *** * ********** finally doctor busy in WhatsApp msg, friend call etc and patient was watching doctor face. Few staff member not patient friendly and you have to expand whole day and staff member r not respond if u ask any question. Really I am disappointed with each and every things with this hospital, staff and doctor.
