It took me sometime to share the experience. Let me first talk about the problem I had been suffering with for the last 4 years and despite multiple consultations, X-rays, insoles, the pain in both the ankles areas had made it extremely difficult to lead a normal life. An injury during aerobic exercise caused unbearable pain and swelling in the ankle area which became chronic . I lost the count of no’s of consultation and test during the last 4 years and had been using insoles for the last 3 years. Insole became an integral part and the day I forgot to use became a painful one. My normal activities were all impacted severely. Last year during Sep-Oct, I came to know about Dr. Mathur. The last consultation I had taken was before covid and I would be honest, I was too sceptical due to past experiences. It was just another consultation for me with not much expectations. I was wrong. Dr. Mathur isn’t only kind, compassionate and empathetic towards his patients, he is a brilliant doctor. He diagnosed the problem on the very first day accurately and a treatment of 2 months completely obliterated the suffering I had been enduring for the last 4 years. My daughter had a knee injury few months back and had been receiving treatment from other orthopedics (not Dr. Mathur) suddenly last late evening she developed excruciating pain. The previous doctors who were treating my child did not respond one had an excuse of being in an OT at 10 PM and the second never bothered to respond.

As a helpless parent tried to contact an orthopedic to get my daughters pain addressed , I contacted Dr. Mathur , although it was very late almost 10:15 PM , he was kind enough to accommodate us .

He was very keen to understand all the problems , the medication and procedures the child had undertaken. He examined my daughter carefully and meticulously , the positive attitude and empathy that Dr. Mathur showed really touched us.

Dr. Mathur took care ,dedicated time , comforted the child and after administering a pain killer injection advised some tests , look forward to seeing him with the diagnostic reports of my daughter.
