Thumbs Up, Why I say so?

It was quite some years ago. I had had a cataract surgery done on my right eye. But in recent times, I was to realise that the other eye had pretty much degenerated.

Doctors suspected a macular hole in the retina now. Two of them we consulted in Delhi came up with conflicting opinions. Between them, they left little hope or will in an 80-year-old man to make a precipitate move.

Then a well meaning friend in US intervened, and he put in a word to Dr Anshu Arora, a surgeon-colleague and friend of his in Delhi. For sure, Arora was the kind of go-to person we so badly needed. And, no waiting, he made himself available in a couple of days of our phone call.

Such a pleasant person he has turned out to be, charming and friendly, Dr Arora put me at ease at the very first appointment. The way he explained the health issues – to a lay person – was noteworthy. To patient expectations of likely success, he responded with a show of uncommon modesty. Said Arora, “A doctor can do 80%. God does it 100%.”

What followed was a smooth back-to-back twin surgery – Vitrectomy and Cataract. A blend of youth and experience, it took Arora just over an hour. And he backed up a professional job at the OT with periodic post-op care and consultations at the well equipped VISION Eye Centre.

Thanks a lot to this young surgeon! He has brought a missing smile and glow back on my eyes as well as cheer and relief to the much troubled family. In the event, a ‘Tamaso Ma Jyotir Gamaya’ moment for all of us!

I recently had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Anshu Arora for my treatment of vitreous haemorrhage, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of outstanding.

Dr. Anshu Arora is an experienced & trustworthy doctor. He explained the intricacies of my disease at every step. After visiting Dr Anshu, I had consulted Gangaram Hospital, Venu Eye Hospital & Shroff Eye Hospital too. But all doctors were confusing me and weren't exactly sure about my disease. Whereas Dr Anshu had told me at the first visit itself about my issue and its treatment. It's been one year now that Icve been visiting him and my eyes are all well now. Very very thankful to him🙏

Had visited dr arora for my son’s eye concern. Varun was just 8 months young abd had developed redness in his left eye. He was rubbing his eye frequently and was upset. Dr investigated the concern and gave eye drops to be put twice daily for 5 days and assured there was nothing to worry but just normal issue of kids growing up and got little infection. Not just the consultation, he made sure to follow up with us via practo on regular basis and checked upon varu:n’s improvement. His follow up was bey kind and gave us a sigh of relief.

Everything is good, I am visiting for my father's eye treatment, he spends more than 1 hour diagnosing and explaining. He always supports on personal level. I am surprised that he meets several patients every day, but still he remembers even small things and even personal information (like my marriage, my baby etc..) and ask you about that, so you feel very comfortable.

In lockdown we were not willing to travel outside, so he suggested medicine on phone even when our last visit to doctor was in 2018, but he remembered everything and suggested medicine, which helped my father a lot.

In my whole life I have not met any such doctor, he is very friendly and supportive.

My father was little worried about a hospital that he told that he do not want to get his surgery done in this hospital, so doctor took him to another hospital to do the surgery ( I am not sure how he managed), but yes he did it.

I am always grateful to find such a clean soul doctor. Many thumbs up :)

I visited dr. Anshu for my sister eye check up.

My experience with him is not satisfactory. As he did not explain the cause of visit in details. He briefed about the illness only less than 1 min. Somehow the saying "A Doctor is a God on Earth" is getting blurred in these times but Dr. Anshu is a living example of this maxim. He is such a wonderful person, always carrying a smile, so full of charm and compassion... we simply loved having him as our doctor.My mom's vision is back because of his "good" hands. Thanks a lot dear Doctor. Her lost vision was my "mother's day gift" to my mom and it was possible due to Dr. Anshu.

Each surgery/operation carries certain amount of risk, but in Dr. Asnhu's case, I had decided that even if my mom's vision doesn't come back, my feeling for my doctor will stay the same....and I would be writing/expressing same feelings for my Dear Doctor.

There maybe many great eye specialist but what i love about dr anshu aroraji is his behaviour with his patients. He is a gem of a person . ** **** *********** *********** **********.He has been my eye doctor since last 1.5 years so i can vouch for him. Just one word review- Best eye doctor .
