VCC Ayurveda and Medical Research LLP

I have a very serious, treatment-resistant case of ulcerative colitis and I am 32 years old. I have suffered from it for over four years and in that time I have tried all of the treatments offered by “west” medicine. That includes different biological therapies (adalinumab, ustekinumab, vedolizumab), immunosuppressants (azathioprine, tofacitinib), anti-inflamatory drugs(mesalazinum), hormonal steroids (prednisolone, hydrocortisone) and so on. Also, I have been on a constant dose of high amounts of prednisolone for the past 2 years (usually it is given in short tapering treatments lasting 6-12weeks). My next step, suggested by my gastroenterologist was partial removal of my colon. As the “western” medicine has failed me, and I would prefer to keep my colon intact - I understood that I need to look for alternatives. That is how I decided to turn to Ayurveda. I came to India in search of a doctor I could trust and a clinic I would feel comfortable to hand my health to. After some reasearch I found a few places that had potential based on reviews. I went to a couple of them and in the end chose VCC Ayurveda. What stood out was that comparing to other clinics - Dr. Greeshma Thomas, together with her father Dr. A C Thomas really took deep interest in my situation. They started off by doing bloodwork, analyzing my past experience and only after some consideration offered me a personalized treatment plan that was comprized of Ayurvedic pills, extracts, massages, oil therapies and specialized oil and concoction enemas that were constantly amended in relation to the stage of treatment, my state and the way I felt. On top of that these wonderful doctors offered me the possibility to get food prepared in house and I had the honour and privilege to spend two wonderful weeks with them feeling like part of family during lunches, dinners and some breakfasts. During those two weeks I had constant consultations, Dr. Greeshma would also contact me directly to check how I am doing and if I needed anything at all she, her fater and her God-sent mother were always just a message or a call away. Also, whilst it is obviously very early to celebrate, I must say that I do finally feel at least a little bit better, day by day. Bear in mind that my situation has been gradually getting worse for over four years, to the point where I was homebound for months, so for me this is already a monumental achievement that I feel better without taking a new hard chemical drug that has a 6-page side effect list. In conclusion I would describe Dr. Greeshma as a very caring, knowledgeable and professional doctor and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for these traits in the person who they are planning on trusting their health with.

I consulted with the clinic after exhausting all other options for the insulin resistance due to PCOS and a recurring allergic cough post COVID. I had been through allopathy medication, constant antibiotics, fad diets everything. Working out at the gym regularly was leading to nothing.

Like many other ayurveda was my last option, but VCC clinic came recommended by friends who had a very positive experience.

I have been following the treatment process by Dr Greeshma and Dr Thomas for a month “only” and my insulin resistance is gone. And it’s not about just physical weight loss but I have blood reports as proof of this. I am without any thyroid pill with normal range thyroid levels. Periods on time. And energy levels at their very best. I haven’t see my reports this way for over 4 years. I still have a long road ahead to train my body to accept this as it new normal and maintain it life long.

The only thing the doctors asked from me is to daily structure in life and belief in the process. Thank you so much to the staff as well. I would recommend the clinic to anyone who is looking to be medication free and happy healthy!

Its great experience with vcc ayurveda that my wife Sudha Pandey was suffering right knee pain. 1st I showed her to a orthopedic doctor, after seeing her MRI report, doctor asked for operation because knee bones was damaged and only operation is a solution. She was not able to stand for 10 minutes with right leg .then I approached to vcc ayurveda, consulted the doctor, he said It will become all right with ayurveda medicine & panchkarma therapy, However, It will take 6to 9 months. Today after 4 months treatment she is walking for 30 minutes and standing without pain. Really its a great improvement.

I came to this centre with a severe back ache issue.. after getting myself into physiotherapy in some other hospital for 15 days..!! I couldnt sleep .. get up .. sit down.. move around.. or even walk around.. the back was stiff and i couldnt bend or do anything.. even taking a bath was a problem..!!

But here...in this VCC Its been only 6 sessions till now.. and i am already feeling better.... the pain is gone.. tge stiffness is gone.. i am feeling better.. sleeping better.. my other health issues have also been taken care of..!!

Was going through severe lowers back pain and numbness in both feets. Had an operation in 2018 of lower back slip disc also.

Again got the pain started after 4 years of relief.

Came to know from someone about VCC ayurveda where i met Dr AC Thomas and he suggested for panchkarma treatment which includes several days therapy and ayurveda medicines. Within first 7 days of panckarma treatment got so much of releif and started coming to my normal routine. But yes we need to be cautious and take care of our daily actitivites.

I have been suffering from psoriasis for a couple of years. After visiting allopathic and homeopathic doctors, I decided to visit Dr A C Thomas for Ayurvedic treatment. Dr Thomas is a brilliant Ayurvedic Doctor and gives you proper time and give you a detailed explanation about your disease/ health issue. Dr Thomas prescribed Panchkarma treatment for me and I stayed in the place provided by the clinic itself which was quite comfortable. The staff here is very friendly and supportive. The home cooked food you get here shows the authenticity with which they treat you. It is too soon to tell about the long term effects of Panchkarma but short term effects are very satisfying. I am extremely happy to write this review about VCC Ayurveda and especially Dr. Greeshma, who helped me regain my strength ! 6 months ago I fell while playing football and got a bulge in my disc and ultimately lost strength of my right hand took English medicine for 2 months and my condition got worse and when I lost all my hope on recovery , I consulted VCC Ayurveda and because of their treatment and guidance I am happily recovered . I was struggling badly with skin/dandruff problem since 5-6 years and consulted with best hospitals including Medanta and some of renowned Dermatologist but none was able diagnose or find root cause. Situation was horrible but finally I found Doctor Mam and consulted for treatment. The best part was Dr. Greeshma has understood it one short and cured 90% in two months time. I am completely now satisfied as life was becoming horrible earlier dur to stress, skin and stomach problems.
