I was there in the refuge of her ethereal smile as time passed and my life began to get back on track. I was, in fact, an interconnected mess of gloom and anxiousness with a hint of depression. I would have undoubtedly been driven into depression if I hadn't visited the Jiva Center. Life was stressful, dismal, and depressing. Since I was unwilling to surrender myself to this anxiety, I sensed I needed to go to therapy. You know, there are moments when life feels turbulent, we feel powerless, and our minds are only awake to anxiousness. That is what happens to us after years of living in fight or flight mode. And the most damaging thing that can happen to a person is losing themselves in this process. The opening line of Mary Oliver's poem has a paraphrase, which reads, 'The time you wake up, that is your morning.' Priyanka Ma'am woke me up! Priyanka Ma'am saved me from a life of despair and doom. She gifted me with an entirely novel perspective on the world and myself. I was able to find my voice thanks to Priyanka Maam. She gave me the confidence to confront mistreatment. After going to therapy, I realised that I had had the most unpleasant experiences, yet I couldn't get rid of the people who had caused them to me. Her unwavering support and determination provided me with the fortitude to stand firm for myself. I've been successful in getting rid of those individuals from my life. I am a student, and when I began therapy, I was unable to study properly. Now, with Priyanka Maam's support, my study hours have gradually increased to 7 hours every day! I'm feeling terrific! Priyanka Ma'am has truly helped me lead a purposeful life. I must confess that after starting therapy with Priyanka Maam, I've grown to love myself immensely. I weighed about 80 kilogrammes when I began therapy. After therapy, Priyanka Maam drove me to take care of myself, so I commenced exercising; I currently weigh 66 kgs! Can you imagine? I started going for walks, and I began to believe that I was in charge of my life. The breathing exercises she taught me have really helped me with my feelings of unease. She once advised me, 'Wear your superhero cape.' And, yes, the cape has been adorned ever since! Standing up for myself feels like fulfilment. I've gotten more assertive, which has helped me protect my dignity and self-respect. I shall be eternally thankful to Priyanka Maam for helping me regain my sense of self. She empowered me to acknowledge my capacity for manoeuvring through situations in life and to act wisely for my personal welfare. She instructed me in the art of self-awareness by helping me determine my bandwidth, or the amount of provocation I could tolerate from various people and the suitable response to any given circumstance. This definitely helped me create a way for myself and plan my life optimally. *** ** *** ******** ********* ** *** *** ********* *********** ******** She's extremely proficient in it, and everything she's explained to me utilising the scientific principles of this therapy has helped me discern not only my own thought patterns but also those of individuals around me. My God, life has become a breeze after learning how to employ CBT methods. And Priyanka Ma'am is the embodiment of intelligence. Priyanka Maam and CBT are an outstanding combination (and a lifeline). She personalises CBT, and her insights into our emotions, temperaments, and responses to situations distinguish her as a remarkable therapist. Fondly, I'd say she's my yellow! I have spoken to her about anything and everything about my life. She is a counterbalance to the chaos. Like human sunlight, she embraces the attributes that pertain to the colour yellow, like warmth, optimism, and emotional safety. She is uplifting and comforting and establishes an atmosphere of safety where I feel comfortable and nurtured. I would recommend her to everyone on this planet. I feel that everyone should have the chance to witness her magic and the beauty of her heartfelt disposition. As I began going to therapy, I came to see that therapy was about getting to know ourselves better as much as it was about healing. Like the maxim 'Know thyself' from Socrates, Priyanka Ma'am has profoundly enhanced my life by helping me identify my thoughts, behaviour, and cognitive patterns. I am able to navigate through life more seamlessly given that I have a deeper awareness of who I am. Thanks to Priyanka Maam's encouragement, I have begun to discover what makes me special. She does that in an exceptional way. She grasps the issues' nerves. The tree grows when the root has healed. In my instance, that is precisely what transpired. She inspired me to embrace responsibility for my life. She enabled me to make myself a topmost priority. She was sensitive in learning about my past, and she often understood what I was about to express even before I could gather words for it. I'm not sure how she does it, but venting in front of her made me feel very valued. I felt heard and validated, and I felt like someone was finally on my side, supporting me in challenging circumstances. She prompted me to see that I needed to stop chasing validation from others and instead focus on the beauty within myself. She gave me the faith to make independent choices and determine what was the best course of action. And I'm pleased to share that I've moved on from an environment that was impeding my growth and flourishing. She made me believe that I can be cheerful! And I deserved love and happiness. My contentment has flourished exponentially after I met Priyanka Maam. She urged me to get acquainted with new friends and open up to others. She inspired me to trust fellow humans and to have faith that there is genuine goodness out there, and that just because previous encounters with individuals were unpleasant does not indicate that we will never run into wonderful people in the foreseeable future. She supported me in being willing to embrace life's gorgeousness! I sometimes find these changes in my life surreal; every day, I have a pinch-me moment that reminds me that, yes, my life is this marvellous in reality. Therapy gave birth to a new me.
