I would like to share my experience on laproscopic cholecystectomy surgery done by Dr. Jignesh Gandhi Sir.

I am Vikas Shinde stay in Airoli, Navi mumbai. On 19th April 2022, I had sharp nonbearable belly pain and digestion problem. Initially I went to general physician and they prescribed antacids. Even after taking antacids my pain was horrible. Then I took appointment of Gastroenterology Specialist Dr. Sonali Gautam at Airoli, Navi Mumbai. After sonography and blood tests, she diagnosed that I was suffering with heavy pain because of gall bladder stones and stones in ducts. Dr. Sonali Gautam is a highly experienced Gastroenterologist and she said me to admit immediately either at Fortis Hospital, Vashi or at Indravati, Airoli/Reliance, Koparkhaine Hospital. Dr Sonali told that I had to go first for endoscopic ERCP and then for gall bladder surgery.

Dr. Sonali did the ERCP at Reliance hospital and removed 10- 12 mm stone and sludge from the ducts. Also, she put some stents during ERCP to dilate the ducts. The procedure was completely painless and because of it my belly pain was drastically reduced. 2 days after ERCP, I was discharged from the hospital. On that day, I realized that Dr. Sonali Gautam is truly a medically sound and experience practitioner. ERCP should not be done anywhere because the complications can be fatal.

Then 5-6 days after ERCP, I was again facing nonbearable belly pain. Dr Sonali gave me some pain killers but the pain wasn't reduced. Then she asked me to take appointment of Dr. Jignesh Gandhi at Fortis hospital for gall bladder surgery.

Dr. Jignesh Gandhi did the CT scan and blood tests check up and urgently admitted me at Fortis hospital. Dr. Jignesh is truly a knowledgeable surgeon and has a vast experience in gall bladder surgery. Dr. Sonali also told me that Dr Jignesh is one of the finest surgeon in Mumbai region. Whole night I was just seating on the bed and could not sleep. Midnight Dr. Sonali and Dr. Jignesh decided to go for my surgery early in the morning. Everybody from my family was afraid. Dr. Jignesh and Dr. Sonali gave me and my family a confidence that we need not to worry. Their support to me and my family was very much required and highly acknowledged. Medicine and Surgery was jointly co-ordinated by Dr. Sonali and Dr. Jignesh.

Then after surgery, I came to know that my gall bladder was infected and gangrenous. Moreover, It was ruptured and lot of pus was found inside the stomach.

I read that Gall bladder blast may even lead to death of the patient. But due to vast experience of Dr. Jignesh Gandhi, gallbladder pieces and all pus was removed through surgery and additional drain which they had put to me on stomach.

Really, Dr. Jignesh Gandhi and Dr Sonali Gautam saved my life. It is always important to have good team. Dr. Pallavi from Jinesh sir's team also helped us a lot throughout the surgery and post-surgery revival. Technically she is also a sound medical practitioner.

In conclusion, even after gangrenous gall bladder rupture, team of Dr. Sonali Gautam (Gastroenterology specialist) and Dr. Jignesh Gandhi( Gall bladder Surgery specialist) saved my life. I highly recommend this experienced and down to earth team for gastrointestine related issues.

On another doctor's advise we had waited quite long which we should not have done, as there was no pain due to this but there were other complications like Gas, acidity and loose motions some time. So it had grown quite big and could have caused emergency anytime.

So on the suggestion of Dr. Gandhi we got it removed immidiately.

We would advise everyone not to wait so long and get these stones removed as soon as possible.
