The two days of conference initiated my journey into the world of sexology, from knowing Sigmund Freud, Masters & Johnson to getting introduced to Helen Singer Kaplan’s sex therapies, and understanding philosophical depth of our very own Vātsyāyana. I developed respect towards the subject. After the conference, I joined Dr. Prakash Kothari, the eminent Sexologist of India.
After my continued participation in many such conferences wherein I heard doctors from varied faculties of Medicine speaking about Sexology rather than certified subject matter experts, I decided to pursue and establish an institution to educate and certify health professionals in Sexology.
