This patient came to me on 5th may with a history of 85 days amenorrhoea. She had a history of irregular menses since menarche. She weighed 88kg.i advised her to do cbc, blood sugar fasting and pp, glycosolated hb, tsh

This patient came to me on 5th may with a history of 85 days amenorrhoea. She had a history of irregular menses since menarche. She weighed 88kg.i advised her to do cbc, blood sugar fasting and pp, glycosolated hb, tsh ,s.prolactin and usg pelvis.usg showed pcod and endometrial thickness of 8mm.she was prescribed primolut n, shelcal xt and myo inositol. I told her that the main treatment is reduction of weight for this condition.

I dont know what is wrong in my approach of treatment.

On 14 th may(within 9 days of visit and 6 days of starting medicine)she started abusing me on whatsapp that my medicines are of no use and that she has spent so much of money and that she would trash me for not seeing any response to treatment.is this sort of behaviour acceptable from patients?

She said that she had developed rashes on skin and hair fall. I have never seen this in my 25 years of practice with the medicines prescribed to her.she was asked to go to the hospital but she refused citing back pain. I prescribed an anti allergic medicine and asked her to meet a skin specialist.

What is wrong in my advise. At the age of 50 and with 25 years of experience, should i allow such patients to defame me?

Within 9 days of visit and refusing to lose weight, she wants to put the blame on me...for a problem that she has since menarche (approx 20 years) ,she wants instant results.

If she felt that my treatment is wrong, she should have taken a second opinion from an other gynaec. She wants to trash me for this advise of tests and medicines? Can anyone tell me what is wrong?practo can verify all the case papers and whatsapp communication if required
