Hello everyone, my name is Yash, I'm 18 years old and lately i was dealing with Post Traumatic Stress, low self esteem, low confidence, insecurities about my body and social anxiety and at some point i even began thinking about suicide,but i was too scared to take a step and do it coz i know it will cause too much pain to my loved ones and i didnt wanted to see them in agony and despair . So i deicide to practice self love & to overcome my traumatizing childhood and i started trying to figure out the way to heal myself and become a confident person on which muma papa would be proud of. I never talk about my Past, i always kept it secret, i never share it with my parents nor with my close friends coz i was afaird of being judged i though i have to take this secret to my grave but it become diffecult for me to move on from these things ,i realised that i have to speak about those issues in order to move on from it . i decided to visit a therapist becoz i wanted to open up about my issues and traumas and i wanted proper guidance to overcome my depression. While searching for a good therapist i came across practo's website and Dr. Lakshmi's Profile i read the reviews and i felt relief after reading some of the reviews it felt like im not alone and the problems im facing can be solved. So i booked a appointment with Dr. Lakshmi. Initially i was a bit nerves becoz it was my first time meeting a psychotherapist but as soon as i entered her clinic i felt a bit relief and Dr Lakshmi helped me feel relaxed and calm down. Then i started to open up about my problems and complexes . Dr was really patient with me and listen to my problems carefully without making me felt being judged or asham8d of my insecurities. i shared my deepest secrets with her. when i was 8 to 9 years old i was a bit chubby kid i use to get fat shamed by my cousins and friends , one day my older cousins started to make fun about my body.they use to say that my chest looks like female breasts. And one day when i was on my way to visit my uncles shop i was sexually assaulted by my older cousins friends, they were harassing me but somehow i managed to free myself and run away. at that moment i felt really scared and powerless. i was traumatized after that event. i never told my parents about it. this event made me build complexes about my body. i had fatty chest and it was noticeable so even in school people use to bully me and say mean things to me. my self esteem was very low coz i didnt felt comfortable in my own body. i was really insecure about my body and my looks. i had terrible rejection lately. A person whom i was crushing on from 8 years rejected me infront of crowd and it was one of the most embarrassing moments i ever had. after this i never try to approach anyone becoz of my low self esteem and i was scared of rejection . After sharing all my problems with Dr. she guided me in best possible way , she explained the psychology behind the events and made me realize that importance of self love and self belief . she answered my each and every query and guided me .we had 3 session and after that i felt really light coz all of that burden of self isolated pain was gone. i felt confident and ease. now im working on myself to become a best version of myself and to be successful in my career . Thanks a lot Dr. Lakshmi mam all of the session felt motivating & empowering.

We both were ready to get divorced and visited the lawyers office, but things changed from the day when our daughter called for consultation of me and my wife. We have given this as our last try.

My decision to divorce was "knowing the reality & leaving for peace & but after her consultation i understood we need to accept the reality and leave around it in interest of what I want and what is best for whom we care.

I had lost touch with reality, lost awareness of my routine basic day to day task (like brushing or even cooking). I was in complete despair, depressed, stressed, felt as if there was a continuous chatter in my head with physical pain that manifests with extreme stress. Dr. Swarupa Laxmi is the powerhouse of positivity. I approached her for a video counselling session. She listened to my problems very calmly, she understood the issues that I was going through. She is very supportive and friendly. She has this energy that she transfers to others and I instantly felt energised and positive about myself. I am a teenager and wanted to share my story. I had been diagnosed with ADHD in my childhood. A few months back I had become very reclusive. I did not talk to anybody, stayed in my room all day on the internet and believed no one understood me. Or could understand me. I was basically in a shell which I used to protect myself. What I didn't know that I was the one who was hurting myself. One day after a conversation with my mother about me and my situation and having had a very bad panic attack a week before we came to conclusion that it would do me good if I visit a therapist. I started with my treatment and was diagnosed with Depression and anxiety. To cope with so much stress,guilt,low self esteem and whatnot I had also developed an eating disorder. I had to change my former psychologist due to her qualifications and was asked by my psychiatrist to go for a one who had done doctorate. I switched to Dr. Swarupa a few months back and things are progressively changing. Or maybe it's me who is changing and realizing that I shouldn't enternain negative thoughts about myself or anyone else. My parents and my siblings have been thoroughly supportive. It made me realize that people you love won't always understand you, but it's the one's who try to make an effort to understand you. I know it's my good lucl to habe such supportive people around me amd I have never been grateful to them more than today and less than yesterday. Going to her made me realize that somethings aren't in my hands and it's pointless to hold myself responsible for them. It has been a very calming experience with her. I am very much grateful for her to make me see a way out of the labyrinth I was in. To all those who are reading this-I know your day might have hard or you just might feel guilty because you think you haven't done anything. It's okay. Things will be fine and they will definately be better. Call out for help. Tell you family (no matter how unsupportive) or ypur siblings or your friends. Just tell someone. Tell them you need help.

I recently visited Dr Swarupa for prolonged anxiety and overthinking issues. Despite everything going well in my life, I felt anxious for no solid reason and it was affecting my sleep, work life, and relationships.

During my first session, I immediately felt comfortable and heard. After the session ended, I felt a weight lifted from my chest and was able to feel glimpses of positivity.

In my final session, she helped me self-analyze and gave me advice on how to live a worry-free life. I was finally able to come to terms with my past and overcome my anxiety. Now, I live a stress-free and relaxed life that I always deserved. She changed my life.

We visited Dr Swarupa first time last week for our 6 and half year old Son. She was extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable.
