My mother was 65 year old and weight was 95kg. She had knee and back problem and due to which she was anable to walk properly. She had tried lots of oil massage and hurble treatment. From navi mumbai and raigarh many people go to pune for knee replacement. I also followed the crowd. My mother's first knee was done by the well known doctor in pune. Somehow She was not satisfied with the results and communication maintained by the doctor. So after through scrutiny i got her second surgery by Dr. Kulkarni. Surprisingly the setup was much better and equipped here in panvel compared to previous one. Personal touch of the doctor and his nature made my mother recover much faster. *** **** *** *** **** ***** *** ***** ******* ***** he suggested us a Mri/ Ct scan further, by giving us a reference (p.s. the centre (panvel mri) takes the MRI scan and also ct scan by default, when asked if we have to pay for Ct scan they said no, we are doing this incase the Dr. Asks us in future **** **** ***** ******* *********** The mri costed us a whooping Rs 4.5k (got a discount thanks to Dr.), lucky we did not do the Ct scan further which would have costed us another (5k).

During consultation the detail explanation of the state of my Knee and the pros and cons of the ailment being more severe if not attended had depressed me to a great extent. But his truthful opinion of going for the surgery with an expectation of having 50% result and improvement in the quality of day to day life encouraged me to decide for the surgery. But my second hurdle was my weight which was 130 kgs and was critical for a TKR surgery. But Dr. Saurabh Kulkarni said to me that If your surgery fails it is my failure as a Surgeon and as a human being I would like to see you living a better life. So if you want to trust me as your surgeon lets do it and I will do my best and I am confident that I will not fail. This was the motivation factor to me and I agreed to the surgery. The over all experience would not have been better any where else if it was not his own hospital in Panvel as I felt I was never out of my home. I will surely not hesitate to recommend Dr. saurabh Kulkarni to any of my friends relatives or acquaintances for their related treatments at his hospital.

dr is so concerned about the patient. he explains the issue in layman's language & see to it that the patient has understood well. never prescrbes any test or medication unless its really required. he spends his time with the patients. great doctor **** ********* ****** and a humble human being with strong ethics and values. god bless
