He did his postgraduation (DNB) in Ophthalmology from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, a renowned institute in the field of Ophthalmology. He passed DNB exam in Nov 2oo5 and Fellowship exam of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) in Sept 2oo8. He did the ‘Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship’ in phakoemulsification followed by Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Squint from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai. He has also been trained for ‘lasers in diabetic retinopathy’ at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. He has worked as a consultant in Pediatric Ophthalmology and anterior segment at ICARE eye hospital and Post-graduate institute NOIDA where he was a teaching faculty for post-graduate students and trainer in phakoemulsification. He later joined Centre For Sight, a renowned multispeciality eye hospital in New Delhi.
Dr.Rishikesh has presented many scientific papers and posters in various Indian and international conferences and has been an invited faculty for many national conferences and CMEs. He is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) and Strabismus Society of India (SSI).read less
