With a Masters in Orthopedics & Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, and a Certification in Clinical Pilates from the Pilates Institute of Queensland, Utsav specialises in the treatment of Sports Injuries, Shoulder Disorders and Complex Spine cases. With a complete hands-on approach to treatment using various tools namely dry needling, sports taping, manual therapy and soft tissue release along with implementation of latest evidence-based protocols, he enables his clients to fulfill their goals. It also includes creating unique treatment plans tailored to meet individual lifestyles and goals. Utsav was the team physiotherapist for the North East United ISL team (2015) and was certified by the BCCI as a Level 1 physiotherapist, in 2012.
I first met Dr Utsav Shah when an orthopaedic surgeon referred him to me. In our first meeting, Dr Shah spent 30 mins diagnosing my left knee - no other doctor had ever done that before! Spending so much time on just diagnosis!
Post the diagnosis, he showed me 7-8 physiotherapy exercises, which he also recorded on my phone so I can see the correct form later at home.
During last year's Covid lockdown, Dr Shah did few home visits for me and helped me strengthen my left knee further. He's extremely friendly, makes you feel very comfortable and tells you the complete truth about your condition.
When I first met him, my left knee had 65-70% strength compared to my right knee and I could not imagine running or walking for long distances. But now I can say with confidence that my knee strength has increased to 85-90% and I can run 1.5-2 kms every day. Thanks a lot, Dr Utsav!

Dr. Utsav understands problem very patiently and advises. Had major lower back pain. First Dr. Utsav focused on solving the pain and after that his main focus has been on ensuring it does not happen again.
It is very helpful that he is into fitness himself so understands the patients problems arising out of new age work outs better.
His friendly demeanor helps in putting patients at ease and communication skills are excellent.
