After travelling around the world from Australia, to the United Kingdom, South Africa and Italy, Tamara settled in Mumbai in 2007. Textiles and yoga inspired her initial trip to India 15 years ago. Little did she know that she would make it her home!Tamara established a private practice in Mumbai which has now evolved into 206 Optimal Movement at Breach Candy, with a satellite practice at Juhu. She is excited to bring together a team of senior health practitioners who she has worked with over the years in Mumbai. She is the Medical Director for the Indian Premier League, has worked at Physiotherapist to the New Zealand Cricket team during the 2011 World Cup, and lectures to Sports Physiotherapists at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.Tamara has been involved as a player and coach for swimming and netball, and has been practising yoga for more than ten years.
Excellent treatment.Tamara has an excellent almost engineer like understanding of the workings of the human body structure, and has a magic touch. I had a chronic pains in the ankle and shoulder both of which were worked upon. The ankle pain stopped right after the treatment. In my prior experience, her follow up exercises are very effective in preventing recurrence.
My appointment with Tamara is always fantastic. She not only helps me get rid of the aches and pains, I always leave her clinic with extended knowledge of what might have caused the problem in the first place and a healthy plan on how to avoid future injuries as well.
Dr. Tamara patiently hears out the patients and is highly meticulous and effective in her applications thereafter
Wholly wonderful. In one session she cured months of chronic pain.
Pains-taking and thoroughly knowledgeable.
To my grateful mind, a miracle worker !
Excellent. She can always find out the root cause of the injury. Good listener. Love the exercises she recommends - always precise, safe and effective.
