Dr. Mugdha Deshpande (Physiotherapist)

I had a knee surgery for ACL reconstruction with miniscus repair. Dr. Mugdha was my physiotherapist after that for six weeks in Mumbai before I had to go back home. She is one of the most caring and efficient therapist I have interacted with. She explain in details about the therapy she is going to undertake and step by step instructions on what is expected after each session. My orthopedic doctor was so impressed with my progress. I could put weight on my legs by the end of six weeks. I cannot recommend her enough if one has to undergo physiotherapy after such an injury like mine. Thank you Dr. Mugdha.

Dr. Mugdha Deshpande was recommended to me by a relative who was being attended to by her for about a month then. Following my knee replacement surgery, I had been experiencing difficulty in walking with normal gait and acute back pain. Dr. Deshpande's exercise schedule for about 5/-6 months has helped me in getting over these issues largely. What impressed me

most about her was the promptness in responding to my call, whenever I needed some advice, her friendly demeanour and clarity of approach. Her approach avoided assisted technologies, such as electrical stimulation. Purpose of each of the exercises was explained in clear terms, leaving no doubts in my mind regarding long term benefits of these.

Now that she finds my targeted muscles reasonably strengthened, she advised continued adherence to these exercises, without any regular supervision by her.

Thanks to Dr. Deshpande, I am happy to report that about 8 months post surgery, I feel motivated enough to move around on my own to a limited extent and attend to commitments, that I had to set aside for months.

Although some of my weaknesses like stiffness of back muscles still persist and reappear sometimes, I feel confident that adherence to her exercise routine, will get me through completely.

Very good attitude of Dr. As she was able to make me understand about my actual position of injury and how to achieve rehabilitation target. Her way of explaining exercises was clear n demonstration was helpful. Will recomend her with flying colors.

I had severe joint pain for which I was recommended physiotherapy and my experience with the first physiotherapist was not satisfactory. On recommendation of a neighbour I approached this physiotherapist. I had excellent results within few days and now I am normal. I am getting stronger by the day as I am continuing the excersize

I felt good and confident about by speedy recovery from "De Quervain Tenosynovitis" after meeting Dr. Mugdha. She examined my pain area (thumb) thoroughly and made me do certain exercises which will help in pain relief and also strengthen my muscles to allow tendons joining thumb to function without any pain and inflammation.
