Through her work in aforementioned organizations and her private practice, she has helped many clients (mainly adults and adolescents) with varied concerns such as Emotional distress, Relationship concerns, Suicidal ideations, Violence/Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, and Mood disorders. She has been part of training other counselors and facilitating workshops on various topics such as managing stress, interview readiness, and psychoeducation. She has trained in EMDR a therapy specifically designed for trauma.
Her approach to therapy is mainly based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She follows LGBT Affirmative Therapy practices and trauma-informed therapy guidelines while dealing with her clients. She has taken part in two courses to improve her knowledge and skills in counselling. They are Tarshi's Online Course on Sexuality and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Coursera's online Social Psychology Course.
