Mr. Sukumar Munje

In life full of automation, information & service at your doorstep, somehow you start ignoring your health specifically mental health and there comes a day in everybody's life when he/she breaks down. Well, I was on the path of happening such thing but before that I came across Manpravah. From the beginning I found this to be very interesting place, right from their clinic environment to each & every personality, everything is unique.

I got opportunity to attend sea mindfulness meditation program at Guhagar & guess what, those are the most joyful and peaceful days I ever had in my life. I thank Dr. Sukumur and team for that. I learned new meditation techniques there, many other activities which I enjoyed & experienced from my core. But, few life lessons from Sukumur sir, opened up new perspective and that is the game changer in my personal life. Since, that programme I can see shift in my perspective in every little aspect of life and it is allowing me to be at peace and enjoy or face whatever situation life is putting in front of me.

7 years before my psychological problem was started. I was totally unaware about my problem. But I was feeling that something is going wrong. I couldn't recognise it. Day by day my anxiety ,depression were increased by different incidents. Then also I was blind about it. And suddenly last year like a bomb explosion my anxiety ,depression came out through panic attacks.

I was surprised that what was going with me?

I was feeling scary, lonely, feeling dying and being a mother bad thoughts came in my mind for my kids. Suicidal thoughts was also there.

I tried to understand that why all these happening with me?? But there was no answer.

I mate my family doctor, psychiatrist, some other psychotherapists. For 6 months I took treatment from them, but there was no use and all these happened in Germany.

In the month of August I came back to Mumbai. Still I was facing the problem of panic attacks, depression etc. Then luckily on google I got the information about Dr Sukumar Munje. I decided to take a chance and let meet to dr. Munje. I was very hopelbut. Dr Munje told me that only in 8 sessions I will come out of my problem. Just after 2 session I was started feeling good.

His way of talking increased my positivity, my confidence.

Because of him only I knew my actual problem and after eight sessions I got my way to solve my problems.

Dr munje is very friendly and makes us understand the problem and solutions by various examples. He do not work mechanically but involve in our problem and give sufficient time to solve it.

In his panvel  clinic some poem's, some positive thoughts are there . That also work as remedies for our problem.

A collection of moral stories ,poems and prayers is also available in his clinic and that is also helpful to learn positive thinking.

Another most important thing is his Music therapy. He doesn't use only hypnotism or counseling but also use Bollywood music to increase positivity

At the end I would like to say that Dr. Sukumar Munje is a total package to kick out Depression, Negativity, Panic Attacks ness from our life.

I can count on Dr. Sukumar Munje because he is a thorough professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of professional mental health counseling. He's an assertive therapist who always aims to address issues from their roots. He's also a very welcoming person to talk to.

Personally, I admire his counseling and psychotherapy principles. His ideas about the same are also very fascinating. I think when we talk about the need for universal health care, we miss an important point, that is, empowering an individual to be connected to and understand themselves so that they can be in charge of their health and wellness.

My son, Shubham Jadhav is in 5th Standard. Though he is good in academic and sports activity, he had a bad habit of getting very angry. In medical language, this refer as Hyper Active. From the early age, Shubham is very much hyper. He gets easily angry over small things. At early age, we deny his habit. But few days back, he got so angry that he break the heads of his best friend. Also, he is abusing bad with his friend due to hyper activity. We both couple are surprise to see his nature. We both are helpless and worried as Shubham is not in mood of listen to us.

Several times I saw the banner of Manpravah on my daily route of Vashi station. We couple decided to meet Dr. Sukumar but Shubham is not ready to come with us. After consultation, Dr. Sukumar made call from himself to Shubham. I am not aware what he speaks with Shubham but Shubham ready to attend the consultation. We both are astonished to see this miracle. My son is started visiting the clinic alone. In just three consultation, surprising changes are observed in Shubham. He is totally come out from his psychological problem of Hyper Active. If you are facing serious stress, anxiety and physiological issues, I don't suggest visiting or considering Sukumar Munje. ** ** *** ** *** ************ ** *** ********* ** ********** ****** *** *********** **** He simply argues and doesn't completely listens to your problem and judges you all time. He gave me a packages of ₹30,000 in which he told he will be giving 10 sessions. I was going through Post Stress Traumatic Disorder and Anxieties, with whole trust I went to him for my treatments, but I was wrong trusting him. Took 4 sessions *** * ****** **** *** ** ** *********** ** *** I was still facing those traumatic and anxiety attacks after those 4 sessions. Honestly, I didn't know where to start when I first went in. I was miserable in my head and my lack of motivation and self-confidence was hurting my present and affecting my future. I have always been a confused person so making decisions have always been stressful. The first thing I realised was that the doctor wasn't trying to enforce any particular idea or perspective in me. He was neutral as well as understanding about the things that others would easily form an opinion about. This made the process so much easier as not many of them actually help you understand yourself but try to enforce a kind of behaviour that seems acceptable to the society and everyone else. Over time, the few tasks that he suggested actually started making a difference. My self-confidence was reviving slowly and I was getting a hold of my self-control, understanding myself piece by piece. Surprisingly, the counseling went on for only 4 sessions but the effects of it lasted. During the sessions, obviously we talked about the problems and its viable solutions but one thing that stuck was that nobody else could do something for you. A counselor can instill thoughts in you but you need to keep working on yourself in order to be better. The best thing however was that his calm nature, friendly behaviour and explanation with examples were the reasons why the sessions were so effective and I slowly started believing in myself and was determined to feel better. Honestly, it didn't feel like counseling, it felt like talking to a friend who actually had the patience to understand and give me solutions for the same irrespective of views of what's right and wrong for the society but according to what's best for me. I didn't have to go through hypnotherapy or any such thing, just counseling helped me so much, I didn't think it was possible. Today I'm doing much better, I feel motivated and have more control on myself and my depression than I did before. So thankful that I found Manpravah at the right time, because I really needed the help.

I can confidently say that Dr. Sukumar Munje is one of the best doctor you can get in Mumbai for your mental health issues. I had visited multiple therapist for me dint work well with me. My ocd issues were getting severe. I was tired & helpless. Hypnotherapy is something I dint try before, hence wanted to give last shot. & it was totally worth a chance.

After almost 7 years of struggle, I finally feel free now. No longer I'm bind by my thoughts I can manage them easily. Counselling sessions & techniques told by them worked great with me.
