I had been suffering from melancholic depression and anxiety due to COVID induced trauma since 2020. I started my consultation with Dr Mithila since 2023. First set of earlier sessions and recommendations were followed poorly by me so I didn't feel much improvement last year but recently when I restarted my therapy with her in 2024, her approach to journal my feelings and her exercises has been super helpful.

As for therapy she tries to avoid medication and gives her best to resolve your anxieties via therapy and counseling which is a great approach. Because having taken medication for a year in the beginning the very laziness and weight gain it caused in me is still not completely gone. So therapy-only approach works.

So I highly recommend Mithila mam. Hoping to get out of this low mental state with her help and guidance, soon. 🤞🏿

I went to Dr. Mithila Desai when I had depression and anxiety issues filled with negative thoughts and self doubt. She happened to be so nice and friendly. She made me understand few cognitive distortions and how to respond to them positively.

During therapy, she listened to my story patiently and tried to understand the situation before making any suggestions. She is the best mentor. As a patient, you just have to talk to her, listen to her suggestions and apply it on yourself. After few therapy, you can actually see positive changes in you.

Dr. Mithila was available anytime when I needed her. Thank you doctor for being there for me when I needed the most.

She correctly diagnosed my problem from the get go and after carefully hearing me at length. Other than that, she’s always available to talk on call or via text if need be. She’s also been extremely understanding and accommodating of my work schedule and giving an appointment when convenient to me. Dr Mithila’s sessions have made me deal with my on going battle with anxiety and brought a sense of awareness I earlier didn’t have.
