I broke(badly twisted) my ankles last year January 2016. My insurance company suggested me this podiatry doctor. "European foot and ankle clinic" South loop, chicago. Dr. Podolskiy attends me.   When first time got to thI broke(badly twisted) my ankles last year January 2016. My insurance company suggested me this podiatry doctor. "European foot and ankle clinic" South loop, chicago. Dr. Podolskiy attends me.   When first time got to the clinic after appointment also still I have waited 30 to 40 minutes. They took my X-ray of my both ankles. I have been diagnosed with some real serious issue in my foot according to dr. Podolskiy. But when X-ray came no fracture required but need to wear braces & injections shoot & I will be fine. I have never been any podiatrist before so I can't judge the treatments process is effectively. But every visit doctor has something & other things for my ankles.   Dr. Podolskiy made me to buy customized foot souls from her, which this clinic cost me 400$ & after I randomly check online the cost is just 30$. There was exercise board in click & doctor told me see this & take pictures do to stretching exercise at home. I did follow all what she said. But after couple of months when I ask her about help for stretching exercise she told u have clicked the picture. I was surprised she didn't even touch my foot & show me how to do. I didn't understand what to do so I quietly followed.   I wasn't completely walk , it's very difficult for me to walk alone by my self for couple of months. But Since day one dr. Podolskiy gave me injections & it was very painful, I couldn't touch my foot down on floor she was like it will be normal in day one & two. I was okay   I could walk little bit, but can't more than 15/20 minutes, that was improvement after 3 months. The braces she gave was good but it's lock my foot completely, I couldn't move without braces at all. My whole legs become so stiff that I hardly feel them.   But this continued for many months, I got 24 injections shoot in my ankles & some medication around 20 days, I got reaction of medicine, & I couldn't sleep or sit or eat or drink at all for 4-5 days. Doctor immediately stop my medication.   According to doctor it's homeopathy injection. But in the bill is something else.   My last visit to this doctor was first week of December, other doctor attended me & I got new stupid elephant size braces & doctor force me take it with me. I had to buy new 2 size big shoe for that. Last option was do surgery I was surprised, shocked & scared. It was just twisted I just didn't heal completely so it's paining me. Finally I realized this is my wrong decision that I should have leave in between & find other Podiatrist.   Spend thousands & thousands dollars but I wasn't heal 100%. I cried a lot this doctor has wasted my time, energy, money & my hopes that I will be fine soon but I didnot.   I went back to my parents town, my cousin Dr. Mansi Shah is physiotherapist. She checked me & said nothing major in my ankles, it just past so many months I haven't did any stretching exercise to loosenup my leg & ankles. Need massage lady help to reduce my pain & remove stiffness from my lower body. Very first day she told me no need to wear braces, give trust on me that I will be fine. Again I put blindly trust but it worth it. Dr. Mansi personally attended me, stretch my ankles & some strengthening exercise. I cried , I can't bare the pain but doctor didn't stop & keep telling me I will be fine. She made me do stretching & strengthening exercise by my self with baby step, first 2 week water comes in my eyes & I became red I felt that I will never walk like before. Doctor said u will be fine. I believed her, my 3rd week I was worried that just 1 week left but that day I did all exercise by my self with scared but I did it. I was so happy after 1 year I did some workout. And my last 4th week I realized I can walk like almost 1hr without pain & first time I climbed step up & down for 2 story without fear. Wowed so satisfied. I hugged her & cried with happy tears. I haven't completed full treatment but I follow her advice till date. I m so thankful to Dr. Mansi Shah that today I can walk & biking(cycling), & other light exercise without pain. I got my confidence back from my fear/sacredness every step i put in floor & climbing step up/down. Just waiting for the day I start running.  ** * ****** **** *** ***** ***** thank you so much for all ur support & help.
