Devangi Dalal is best known for being the first Indian audiologist to win the “Humanitarian award” by the American Acadamey of Audiology (AAA). She has worked passionately as an audiologist and speech therapist with an experience of 23 years. Her specialty is in Audiology & Speech Therapy assessing children and adults with varying hearing,speech,voice and neurological disorders and typically planning rehabilitation programs to improve their functioning at home and in the community. It is this desire for working towards the needs of hearing impaired children that she founded JOSH FOUNDATION. In the aim to improve and empower hearing handicapped children, she has been instrumental in gathering funds, and providing a platform for these children through various events. She regularly takes lectures for various organizations in Mumbai to bring awareness for speech and hearing related issues in children and adults. She is attached to various social NGO’s..
