For someone who had never felt the need to open up to someone, I was extremely lucky to have found Dr. Benaifer. At the onset she asked me what my goal was for seeking her consultation and patiently listened to me. It was like sharing things with a close friend without worrying about being judged. Time just flew by and I am really thankful to her for showing me different perspectives. Within the first two sessions, I found a lot of clarity in my thought and I look forward to seeing her again. She is available for consultation in person as well as online through different channels, so distance really doesn't matter.

This was my first ever shot at therapy. I got comfortable speaking to Binaifer quicker than I anticipated and in almost no time at all. She was warm and professional. My preconceived notion was that I could always hold my own no matter how severe my suffering; our sessions proved me wrong and made me realize that I should have pursued therapy a lot sooner. She asked the right questions and helped me gain valuable insight which I somehow couldn't do myself. Through our sessions, I found that the solutions to my problems were right in front of me the whole time and she gave me the nudge I needed to move forward. I'm eager to put my newfound solutions to the test and am confident that they will serve me well.
