After returning to India she worked as a Counsellor for Dr Ashit Sheth at his Clinic "Unlimited Potentialities" in Vile Parle and Marine Lines.
Simultaneously she also started working with the leading FMCG Corporation "Hindustan Unilever "as their Mental health Consultant for all their In house employees at their Andheri East Headquarters.
To further her expertise ,Alaokika went to the Beck Institute in Pennsylvania USA in 2018 to do a certificate course in CBT in Anxiety.
Since the past 3 years Alaokika has opened her own Clinic in Linking Road ,Bandra and practices solely there.
Some of her areas of expertise are mooddisorders,anxiety,phobia,couple and marriage counselling,substance abuse,post traumatic stress disorder,(PTSD), compulsive addiction (gambling, love,porn addiction),family therapy, self harm, trauma amongst others

She has attended numerous Conferences and has been widely quoted in newspapers and magazines on her expertise in the field of Mental Health.
She was recently invited as a part of a panelist group for a mental health awareness campaign called "Mind it".
