Consulted Dr. Siddharth M. Shah (Orthopedist)
My father aged 89 years had an unfortunate fall at home and broke his femur near the hip. Our family doctor whom we completely trust and go to for advice on all medical issues immediately recommended Dr Siddharth Shah. Dr Shah was very clear with his diagnosis. At the same time he was very patient and explained the specific issue with us and the mode of treatment going forward. Since it was an issue requiring immediate treatment he organised for the procedure to take place on a holiday at the hospital. I am sure the timeliness of the operation helped in ensuring better recovery for my father. In these COVID times with all hospitals taking extra care and restricting meetings between patients and their relatives, Dr Shah took extra effort in explaining to the nursing team to ensure proper care and attention to be given to my father in our absence during his stay at the hospital. Further, even for meetings, Dr Shah would come down and meet us in the lobby of the hospital to assuage all our apprehensions regarding my father’s condition and his progress. He would promptly and clearly respond to all clarifications sought on Whatsapp. Finally the proof is…my father is noticeably getting better and we are grateful to Dr Shah for his treatment.
Consulted Dr. Anand Utture (Urologist)

Hoped for better:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueValue for money
The doctor diagnosed my problem as hypochondria (health anxiety) and said my overactive bladder was not particularly large issue but my health anxiety was worsening it. I took the diagnosis and ordered my medicine. As I am waiting for my tablets to arrive so I can start the course, I can't help but wonder how wrong his behaviour was.He sounded so arrogant all the time. This was third-opinion consultation for me. I had been to two different Urologists before and their treatments didn't work. When I tried to ask him about other symptoms, it was clear that he wasn't willing to answer. My psychiatrist had recommended me to keep drinking as much water as possible (at least 2-3L), because I was having balance issues (minor fainting). His recommendation was to reduce water intake down to 1.5L per day for a week. He quickly referred me to Practo and said I am questioning the best Urologist in Mumbai. When I asked him if this 1.5L limit is permanent, he gave another reply reeking of bad attitude. I found that it was tasteless and very unprofessional for a doctor of his pedigree to be talking this way. ***** **** ***** * ****** ***** ********* *** ****** **** *** ***** ***** ******* * *** *** ** *** ******* *** **** **** * ******* ***** * ** ***** *** **** ***** **** ** ****** **** ***** He didn't give me time to explain whatever I had come to say. Had a look at my files, asked me a few questions, and was confident he had nailed the cause. without ever bothering to explain to me what happened and how it happened. I had to Google to understand meaning of what he said. What's the point of paying 1200rs for the appointment if the doctor refuses to listen to you and can't explain the cause properly? The whole thing took barely 10 minutes as he was pretty apparently in a rush. ** *** ******* ***** ******** ****** ** **** * *** *** ******* **** *** ** **** **** * ********I don't think I will ever go back to Dr. Anand Utture. Even if his treatment does work, I will probably talk to another Urologist in that hospital.

Consulted Dr. Siddharth M. Shah (Orthopedist)
I had been suffering from knee pain for last couple of years and an MRI showed that the cartilage on both knees were worn out causing friction and resultant pain. My general physician suggested I visit Dr Siddharth M Shah who is a hip & knee joint replacement surgeon in S. L. Raheja Hospital.
Dr. Shah was extremely polite and professional and explained to me the need for a total knee replacement surgery and also the risks involved due to obesity.
Despite the hurdles faced due to excess weight, Dr Shah operated on me and has treated me with the greatest care, professional expertise and compassion. I am grateful to be his patient and highly recommend him.
Consulted Dr. Arun Bal (General Surgeon) for Diabetic Foot Treatment/Surgery

Dr. Arun Bal had operated on my foot for a virus infection where my toe was amputated in another hospital where the treatment was left incomplete. He not only removed the infected finger, he also recommended the best of the medicines that made me walk after 2.5 months of surgery. Now I am reporting to office but do make a point to meet him for my follow-up whenever he gives me a date. I feel at home when I visit him in Raheja hospital and he probably considers me as one of his prize patient. He has very good contacts with other doctors and they all respect him for his work. Never seen a doctor climb up/down stairs even at his age but that's my doctor.
Consulted Dr. Kaustubh Mahajan (Neurologist)

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
Dr Mahajan was a godsend to us. Last year, I was suffering from severe migraine like headaches after being diagnosed with typhoid, which all of a sudden resulted in imbalance and blackout one day. Dr Mahajan diagnosed it as brain TB and assured us that it would get treated with medication. Were it not for
him, I would have gotten operated on by now, as all the other opinions I had sought said it was a benign tumour and should be removed by surgery. I am happy to say I continued with Dr Mahajan’s treatment and my MRI scans now show no signs of infection and none of my symptoms have recurred. We are very thankful for his patience and his accurate diagnosis.
Consulted Dr. LEENA JAIN (Plastic Surgeon)
Note:Â This doctor is no longer practicing at S L Raheja Fortis Hospital
Dr. Leena is a very calm person by nature and explains the entire diagnostic process very well which is a great asset to help treat patients. She is quiet knowledgeable in her field and also explains things in layman's language. Post my dads operation I can say that she has really taken very good interest in treating his wound from start to finish. She is also very approachable and tries her best to respond to messages when in need.
Consulted Dr. Neena Singh Chitnis (Rheumatologist) for Arthritis Management

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueValue for moneyWait timeTreatment satisfaction
Dr. Neena explained the health issue and suggested medicine. She explained the reasoning as why we need the treatment.
We liked most was her good approach and explanation ability.
There was very less waiting time around 20 mins only.
Improvement - Dr. Neena's Handwriting was difficult to read, if possible she should improve it.
Overall on scale from 1-10, we give 9 based on overall experience.
