Subsequently, he spent the next 10 years in United Kingdom & Australia where he trained in the newer techniques in Respiratory Medicine, Diagnostic & Interventional bronchoscopy, Intensive Care Medicine, especially Non - Invasive Ventilation as well as specialized in Sleep Disorders.
After returning from UK, he had been working with Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, where he assisted in setting up the Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Department.
He subsequently decided to join private practice & is currently affiliated with Breach Candy Hospital, Gleneagles Global Hospital & Punamiya Hospital, Mumbai.
His areas of interest are Endobronchial Ultrasound Bronchoscopy, a helpful technology in diagnosing & staging Lung Cancer, as well as diagnosing causes of mediastinal lymph node enlargement; Medical Thoracoscopy & its application in Pleural diseases; Non – Invasive ventilation (Acute & Domiciliary); & Sleep & Sleep related Breathing Disorders.
He has also set up a state of art Sleep Laboratory at Punamiya Hospital for detailed sleep studies.
He manages all general respiratory problems such as Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Diseases, Tuberculosis & Multidrug - Resistant Tuberculosis, Benign Pleural Diseases, Pleural & Lung cancers.
